I just realized something. You know all those guys who are out there now kicking some butt in the FW's? Obviously they are guys who bought the BoB, but I suspect before that they were p-40 pilots who for whatever reason didn't want to invest a few dollars on a plane. Today's "snacks" are tomorows nemises It's not hard to see how they are so good. Flying around in a p-40 with both hands tied behind their backs must have toughed these guys up!
P40 Rules!!! P40 is really a great plane! I'm starting a P40 camp. Anyone want to join? This match had 8 players. A Mosquito player left before I took the picture. This match had 8 players. 4 of them left before I reach 15 kills to take photo and leave the game. Of the 4 that left, only 1 is P40. I found a room called Zero. I entered and found 2 Z3 players and the rest P40 including myself. I killed the Z3 player (Oops, sorry Solo for using you in the example. To clarify, later Solo killed me in my P40 a few times. ). Austin u seeing this? Hehe. I left 2000 points before passing 200,000. This is what I'm gonna do. For the remaining of 2000 points I'm gonna get (~300 kills), I will use only P40. This is my retirement plan. Edit: Anyone replying this post pls remember to remove the picture BB codes.
Yes I can avoid it. But I don't want. It should work. So I try out. If it really start crashing all the time again I quit the room before limit is reached... but why crating a room with a limit, if you can't ever reach it? That's stupid. I dream of the times we had this famous rooms which lasted for days... why are they gone? So you still favorite the ocean map? I thought your problem is fixed too?
No it's not fixed. I thought it has when I played just after the server is up. Hazard brought up a good point. He said likely the reason why I have smooth game initially is because they are few players when the server is just up. Then when everyone realised the server is up, I no longer have the smooth control. And it's back to square one. The ocean map is still the smoothest control but it sometimes can be wobbly. I can only make do with it. Ya, I missed those times when we can have rooms that lasted for days even weeks. This time there seems to be no such room. I wonder why.
He did say Adios and I'll be back before he left. When i entered he's already at 15 kills. He left at ~24 kills. Well, the room was all P40 except him because the other Z3 player left earlier.

Hey, how come most SAB members aren't putting SAB in their names any more? I like seeing our presence, having others recognize the group as a skilled group.
Generaly I do, however the past few games I have been incognito since being droped to #11. I'm trying to see if I can get people to come back here and ask "who was so and so?" I haven't run into anyone yet except for Mosquito and he knows who I am. I haven't been able to play much lately though. I ran into chonch for a minute and also Bukki and Tom. Those two actually had me all alone against them in a team player game with two other teammates, but didn't stick around long for me take all of em on! I was wanting to take them on too! Dang you guys! Flying incognito is the exception for me not the rule. I'm stuck at work today with no online play and no clients who are supposed to be here at some point in sight. The firewall here blocks the game servers. So being bored out of my mind I stumbled on a rather fun thing to do in SoG. DFB in squirmish mode.... using bombs! It's quite fun actually. What I figured out is to point my plane at the base and then climb to 4k ft, the max bight you can go. Level off and once you see the base directly below you, dive on it while cutting your engines really slow. Line up on it so your "laser" is lining up in front of you nose. Start dropping as many bombs as you can while diving on it. One bomb will destroy the base but that's not the cool part! The cool thing is that if you time your bombs right, it's possible to blow up the base, have it respawn while you still have bombs in the air, and then boom! It blows up again just as soon as everything resets! I know you don't get highscore points for this, but what a cool way to blow peoples minds!
Lol, Orion, that's a far out discovery! It does sound like fun! I want to try it when bombing the train or the ships.
Ah, I never knew you were there! I have been darting in and out of games. I've been having poor scrolling & control in a lot of them so I don't stick around if everything is too jumpy. Bukki

lol, funny thing you found out. I never used the bombs... ok..only once..but I didn't get them where I wanted, so I took rockets... Funny too is your incognito thing. I have the same way of looking at it. Always when I lost a rank I said: "If I get back this rank I'm worthy to put the SAB tag again.... Ok it was also because I couldn't read the names fast enough. And when you have to play for kills, and you can't really read this names, you will shoot SAB friends or get shot yourself. So I took the tag off, when I wanted to do many kills. Next week I get my new glasses, then I can read the tags, I hope.
Yes the bombs are very powerful The fun thing though is to be able to time your bombs to where you destroy the target have it respawn, you and all the players get reset and then BOOM! You watch the base from your base blow up again, from the second bomb you dropped at the base previously. That is extremely difficult to do though, because usually your second bomb hits as the base is exploding. That and in order to do that you have to drop your first bomb from 4000ft and have it hit the target which as it turns out is a hard thing to do in itself. Then you have to time your second bomb just right, which is tough because it turns out there is a recharge time on the bombs too... I spent two hours doing this and only managed those two for one base destruction's only four times! I am getting quite good at precision bomb strikes however Like I said, it really is fun
Hehe! Every time you accidentally shoot me down, I imagine you squinting really hard trying to read all the names I wear glassed too... I am dreading the day when I have to wear bifocals! Right now though I am going up incognito just to surprise a few people! Once I do, I'll have that out of my system... probably a bloody nose to boot! lol
had a nice FFA match with "1" how ever this may be... GG pretty strong... you can hardly see him... so you have to shoot him smoking
