Well I'm home for lunch and I just played a few quick games. One in the Mustang II and one in the p-38. I am happy as it seems like I am experiencing the same thing in multiplayer as I am in skirmish mode! The planes seem somewhat more peppy to me somehow! I saw Mosquito up in his Mustang II as well
Seems like some players can now have 18char names. Can u guys have more than 10char names? I still can't.
Haven't tried, but I see hazard has a cool scrolling affect going on in the highscores. Have you tried downloading the free version yet? I'm thinking the Bob must not have been updated yet. Who knows Shern you might even get "peppy planes" with the "free" version
I downloaded the free version and indeed I can put in 18char names. But when i played in Ocean map, my control is wobby again! Then I played in the Bob version and is wobbly also. So now i removed the free version and reset my iphone. Now trying out the game again.

Please do stage 3 of Battle of britain with Mission pack. Then, I think that the problem of the operation happens. This problem is not a speed of connection. ..processing performance of iPhone 3G.. enough.

Ouch! I'm sorry Shern! That totaly sucks! Also try resetting your data, according to GN playing the third mission in the Battle of Britan messed it up for him. That is so very strange GN, I know I won't play the Battle of Britan campaign now based on your findings. Thanks for sharing that with us.
My control issue is back!!!!!!! Yaaaaa!!!! I now have reason to get the 3GS this weekend! Thanks SGN! I'n not sure what happened. A few hrs ago just when the server is up, I had multiple games and hit more than 150 kills. No control problem. Then just now after i download the free version my control issue is back again. Then I delete the free version and reset my iphone and played in my BoB paid version and is as bad. In fact, it worse than before the server is down. Now I can't even play in ocean map. Edit: I tried again and is still sucks.
Yes it does seem alot smoother! That's very encouraging that it's not crashing on you either! Did you get a case of the peppy planes as well?
I think some of the problem is linked to how many people are playing. I've noticed that when there's not as many games to choose from, it tends to be smoother than when alot of games are being played.
So why don't you try saving the BoB to your PC, delete it off your iPod... or better yet try reformating your iPod, and then download the free version again and just play that. If a reformat from scratch and fresh download of the app we know has the bug fixes dosen't work than I don't know what will!
Hey Shern, did I just see you in a Zero-III? You should have stuck around for awhile. I don't think I've ever had the chance to play against you other than the one game where you noticed my bailouts. That was forever ago.
I did the update and I can use more than 10 characters.. was playing as Mister Higgins, with the space it's 14 characters. EDIT: "Jonathan Higgins" 16 characters
Hey Mosquito, great game! I'm not sure you knew it that was me or not.. we were both not using our SAB names, so I thought we could have a nice friendly game! I would have stayed longer but my battery died! That was fun! I am starting to like the p38 now since the update! Like I said, all my planes seem to handle way better for me now
oh it was a p38? nice... I thought first it must be you but then I saw this terrible stars and stripes painted plane and said: no, this can't be orion.... lol I knew it must be someone I know from TA GG was interesting... I should write notes about every fight... then we could compare the experience... sometimes I lose h2h very quick, sometimes I win... do you know why you lose here and win there? Sometimes I really don't know what I did to win or to lose... this kind of game is very much fun... paolo-it was watching it for a while, lol EDIT: I'm always glad if a SAB beats me.... and not a noob, lol
I remembered seeing u as hairy chesticles. But I forgot exactly why I left early in the game. Probably I saw your name having more than 10 chars long that I want to quit to check out. Probably due to real life calls. Later I went back to the room but u're not there. Btw are u Chotish (wrong spelling but smtg like that) also? I thought he was u and I have played a few match in FFA with him. Then everytime he smoked he never pull a Chonch so make me think otherwise that he's u.
Yes the Capt. America is ugly isn't it It makes a cool high pitched MG sound now too that I didn't notice before It's still not as maneuverable as some of the other planes, but it seems to be just good enough for me now, to be usable. Sometimes I lose H2H runs because I dindn't get the shot off first. Right now I was also just starting to get the feel of the p-38.. my little barrel roll move doesn't work nearly as well in it. In that match up though, usually the P38 is going to beat the mustang II because it has better firepower and armor. Some of those runs, I was pretty smoked up. I don't like flying around shooting with just a MG so I will get it over with and just try and get as much damage as I can on the other guy. Then when I come back I will go hunting them down to finish them off because I know they will have taken heavy damage. Way better than deliberately crashing I think. Also some of those runs you caught me at a bit of an off angle. I have noticed that sometimes you can kind of dip up a bit and then down and catch the guy not quite square on the nose.. what this seems to do is land more rounds in their plane. A lot of it really is technique and when you are in a more maneuverable plane you really can take out one of the more heavily armored planes in an H2H Great Game! We should do that more often because that was way too fun! Yes I noticed Paolo-it watching us too Hopefully he learned something
