Thanks to all who welcomed me. Some by saying Hi! Others by lighting me up like a Christmas tree! Just wanted to say I have never been a video game player of any type. With many children and ungodly amounts of playing systems laying around my house I have never been drawn to them. I got this game for my phone as something to pass the time with and that I didn't need a PhD. to learn to play. I will say I love this game. It is fun to play and the people on it seem quite alright. See you in the skies, hopefully, before you see me!

I'm with you on the mustang, if they ever upgrade that or the corsair, I will be primarily in one of those. Untill then, I will be in the mercenary camp!
I can't even begin to count how many systems we have in the house as well for our kids, and yet I'm playing SoG all the time! The simple to the point game play is what draws some of us older players.

I heard your plane revving, turned towards the sound, saw your smoke trail and (no word of a lie) said, "Gee....this is going to be easy...Haz is trying to bail out and he's coming right towards me.!!!" that's when I WOW'd that was a GG. Please don't throw your iphone in the lake. Who would i get to bug and chase so easily?
well, i've got nothing against the other planes. i've learned to NOT flying h2h with the 38 and the mossie and with the wrong pilot, they are easy kills. I love the Z3 and the Mustang II although I haven't taken the latter out in some time. but i won't be putting any letters in front of my name. there's only a few out there who will remain targetless when I fly. the rest, are fodder for my cannons muhahahahaha
A noobie question - consequences of attacking much more skilled players! Hello Everyone, I started playing a month ago and am hooked. I have racked up an impressive 1000 deaths (and only 700 kills) bringing me to the inspiring rank of 724! No doubt that will inch up over the next few weeks but who knows. Here is my question: I have learned enough to know when I am in a room with an "expert" (i.e. anyone near the top 10) and I can't help myself - I try and get them even though it is practically impossible. Then they get annoyed and kill me more often. Question: Should I lurk in the background and ignore those awesome players? Or do you guys find it more sporting if a noobie actually goes after you? Welcome to TA, Mike! One of the quickest way to get killed in the game is to ignore the top players. Really. If u're not facing them, most of the time it means they are facing your backside. Just go for the easiest target, which is one that's smoking, or lower grade plane.
Shern, luckily enough after the 5th one a nice Dr. filled us in on how it was happening. How could something so fun have such severe consequences........jeez, who knew! Anyway, my wife quickly put a stop to that! Explains why I have so much free time on my hands now. Save the comments on that one people! Nothing you could say hasn't already run through my own wee little melon!
