Just had a little browse through the facebook SoG page, this anti ZIII chat is getting pretty boring isn't it?? it's taking over that whole page arguments for and against, so all the other stuff is getting brushed over, people should just use what they want and feel most content in! It's probably the most fun to use anyway and people new to the game are going to get carved up if they don't use that or the p38-and the p38 stars and stripes is ridiculously ugly! I tend to fly the mustang a lot now anyway but if i meet some of the people on here in zero's or p38s then it's a tough matchup! As far as I'm concerned the pinnacle of this game is a full FFA from 0 against Sola, Origami etc in ZIII's regardless of what everyone else is in and trying to nail 20, 50kills and so on asap and quicker than those guys! thats my £0.02 Just seen a post from the other day as well, Lav//erde, that was a great game! I was trying to reach 20 a second time and your h2h skills halted my progress! nice work
Was it you, Orion, or maybe Random... One of you got to a point where you were smoking and flaming heavily, down to one gun (which we all know is a horrible condition to fly around in). You let out a bunch of ARGH's or OUCHes, which let me know your condition. I found you and gave you a friendly tap with my MG's, and then you bailed. Glad to help!
Thanks for saying what I've been thinking for the past week. The most enjoyable games involve facing the best players flying the best planes and the best FFA plane is the Z3. There is no argument. If you get dominated then you know the other player is better skilled and that's that. Maybe it's just that some of you vets are getting bored and are in search of something to make the game more interesting for you. I can understand that. It just seems like all this "Using the Z3 is for wimps and is cheating" talk came about after the ONE GIRL who plays this game posted that here a couple of weeks ago. If that post was written by anyone else here it simply would have been a challenge but since that member has a feminine callsign it was apparently emasculating to some. Just fly what you want to fly. I'm not playing this game to impress China Girl. (Sorry Shern)
Shern, sorry about this kills. That first one was brutal b/c I was racing to get towards Witek before u and I saw tha u were way to my left but somehow my bullets hit you way out there. I was completely surprised. The 2nd one you accidentally flew in front gg though
That must have been random! Lately when I get to that state I just fly around pecking at smoking planes with the mg's, which surprisingly I have been able to still make a few kills that way
I can tell you, I am just getting bored. It isn't an issue of fairness as anyone can buy a z3. I just like having a varity of competive planes to choose from, and I feel we don't have that anymore. I am enjoying the Mosquito at the moment, and trying to be competive in dogfights in it, but I will likely get bored of this here eventually. There was a reason I bought all the planes. It was kinda neat before the update how the differnces were subtle in them. That's one of the things I enjoyed the most about this game. Now the differnces are glaring. Still though I don't think flying the z3 makes anyone less of a player.
Sola just entered my room in Mosquito. Mmm... is everyone avoiding Z3 to impress CG? I don't think so. Actually I'm stopping to use Z3 is quite similar to Orion's thinking. But the plane that I really want to fly is Yak-3-I with the guns fixed. SoG seems to be ignoring me in the facebook. I have asked them at least 3 times about making Yak3 firepower more powerful than Z3, but they seems to be on deaf ear. Are they scared of losing their Japanese customers if they make it so?
So the iPad is available this Saturday in the US and April 24th (maybe) in Canada and the rest of the world. Is anyone here getting one? Do you think SoG would be better or worse on the larger format? I think all they'd have to do to make it compatible with the larger format would be to move all control buttons (throttle controls as well as pause and view buttons) to the bottom and keep the relative distance from one another similar to the distance now. Otherwise it would lose it's user friendliness as I don't want to be poking at the top corners to adjust speed, etc. I guess the real question is would the bigger screen cause any of you motion sickness?
Not getting one yet, but I hope to soon. My SOG concern is that you'll be tilting a really large device around wildly. I hope it has an integrated wrist-strap attachment point... a STRONG one. Rixx

Good to hear there is people with similar thoughts, Orion, your point is a good one too, I use the mustang a lot because it provides slightly more of a challenge than the Zero against most people, where do you draw the line though? I reckon most rooms are probably winnable going all the way back to the spitfire! I wouldn't bother with anything other than Z3 if I got to have rooms full of vets the whole time. I've been trying to come up with room names to entice good players in but none seem to really work, I tried killNeLge earlier and at least haz and mosquito got involved!nice The best I think is someone who put 'top ten suck' as his TP room name, he promptly ended up with me and sola on the opposing team-credit to him though he stayed in at least a few minutes!

CHUCK NORRIS would fly around with a hang glider shooting bottlerockets out of his a-hole, therby completely slaughtering the competition not only in the room he is playing in, but also people would be suddenly dying in the rooms above and below where he is.
