Just noticed they added Skies of Glory: Battle of Britain on the AppStore for 6.99. I liked the free version of SoG, is the Battle of Britain a good deal for the price?

Yes, you can unlock some good planes and you get the squrmish and the dogfight bundles, so it is a good deal. However shern is right about the zero III.
We are not talking about the Bob pack but the new "BoB primo SoG addition. You can unlock up to 9 planes by playing the campains and it has all the packs bundled in it.

The Mustang with a good pilot gave the Z-III a run for its money and that is the same in SoG which is good! The plane which is the most un-historial is the Mossie this was a high fire power, low armour, high manuverability plane that dominated the skies in Europe... The Germans even has special Mossie killing squadrons!
I will agree with all that Orion said and add that you need watch you six when in a FFA game, people will re-spawn behind you and if it is a vet with a zero then it will all be over in moments... If you want to knock up kills in a mossie then go to DTB, if you just want to have h2h play-off then go for a team game. Looking forward to seeing you in the top ten soon
Yes for team player the Mosquito is amongst the best. I still take it out in FFA more though! Yes always check your radar! How could I have forgotten that one! Thanks Capt Fear!
SoG Logo Hey there everyone. Every time SoG boots up we see those wings behind the SoG title. I knew I have seen those wings before. As a graphic designer I have built a large library of vector art. It happens that in my collection, it seems that I have the exact vector art that was used for the SoG logo. Look below and check see for yourself. Do you see how even the 2nd longest feathers are a bit shorter than the 3rd longest set of feathers. Obviously they changed the angle of the feathers. I think the Vector art was done by this guy., http://dccanim.deviantart.com/. The file isn't available anymore I don't think on his site, but I have the vector file if anyone wants it. Let me know if you want the vector file for anything.
Shern, I agree with you about the Yaks firepower, it's not better than the zero III. However have you tried the Mosquitos lately? It seems pretty powerful to me now. Have you retested both planes in online play lately? Just curious.
