Hmm, well collecting frags from you is a rather pleasant thought Not me but I was in the 'Aces Only' lobby and saw that '?' name in there. It was glitchy for me too alot of stop n starts. I saw one plane disappear from in front of me, I thought they had left but saw no room leaving message Co-Sign! ... far too many non-SoG and other gaming activities to be doing to think about hitting an sticking to the Top 10... Well at least you've got the T-Shirt Speaking of GN-0000, I did bump into that aviator online yesterday, and we happened to swap a round or two. Rundown as follows: attack - 7/10 Even though he seemed to get the job done prowess in my oppinion was'nt on point, lacked the Blitzkrieg attitude. maneuverability - 7/10 At close range he bobbed n weaved so much I was chasing yellow triangles all over the screen, but get him the length of a football pitch away when he can't hear your propeller behind him and he takes all the rounds you can shell out. shooting - 8/10 At close combat he seemed to stick to his method, after the arial Joust he would quickly double back and get a couple quick shots in, but long distance Joust wasn't his selling point, he didn't know when to squeeze... sometimes the difference between winning a frag from an opponent and bailing from a smoking doomed aircraft or being killed is shooting a second ahead or a second too late technique - 7/10 He seemed to have only a couple set techniques which he stuck to for the better or for the worse, close combat was his bread and butter which he used well enough but switch your strategy on him an he's like a mermaid out of water. overall - 7/10 Overall in my opinion he didn't seem like a No.1 ranked based on skill - stealth - strategy... his had one or two tricks up his sleeve but his claim to fame going but what I saw and his stats is alot of elbow grease in number of games. Would have given him 6/10 but he was using a lower spec plane then the SeaFire and the Corsair, so that into consideration - 7/10 Screencaps I thought I run into [SAB]Twolf too but when I got close it was just another one of your SAB motley crew with similar abbreviations Sounds like a good feature to add, maybe also a 'Fastest Climbers' chart based on weekly kills i.e week ending: 17/01/2010 > 1, AviatorX - 100 Kills 2, AviatorY - 89 Kills 3, AviatorZ - 87 Kills Would be nice to gets a heads-up on any new fast moving hopefuls ... but I doubt they'll do it though By the way ... I fly by the aviator name of 'Boola-Boola' .... So I guess i'll see you next in between my red crosshairs
Fast, Did I hear wrongly? U calling SAB tm motley crew? U have offended 2 of my best buddies (tm and Frumius), man. U better watch your six! Because I'm coming after u. I'm gonna hunt u down and grill your boola boola seafire with my red spitfire. I'm gonna turn your red plane into red lobster.
My wife hates me playing this game. But she's happy when she see her name at #1 position (I think only Hobo saw that name in one evening). I never tell her that I can change the name anytime I want. Then I promised her I can stop playing since I've achieved no1. That's last week. Now she caught me playing again. I just tell her it's just quickies. Now to please her, I have to play behind her back, play when she's not looking. I never tell her I'm no longer no1. At least I never have affairs behind her back. I'm still faithful
F.A.S.T 3G, that was a nice write-up of GN-0000! I think you did hear wrongly, shern. I didn't see anything that I felt offended me, and I couldn't find where he mentioned tm at all. In fact, I saw someone who might be a good SAB addition! But I thank you very much for watching my six!
Ic. So it's my misunderstanding and probably my over sensitivity. Sorry Fast. But u still have to watch ur six because I'm after anyone without the SAB tag.
He wasn't singling me out, shern, he was calling all of us a motley crew ... I think we should take that as a compliment! He just happened to have a screenshot of me dying, but none of him dying (I wonder why?).
... Well looky at what my big mouth has done for me tm... correction, I just happened to have a screenshot of me killing you But it wasn't personal call it was mistaken identity I thought you were someone else Maybe we can all arrange a little get-together in a private room at sometime - mosquito, shern, Frumius, Twolf, tm in the same lobby at once..... i'd be rather spoilt for choice
heh this friendly bashing, makes me almost want to give it another try and maybe buy a plane.. just to participate in the taunting. laughs probably a good reason no pictures of his self being blown out of the sky, he was to shocked.. and dropped his idevice. all fighter pilots need egos taller than mount Everest. chris.
Sounds like fun. But considering how many time zones we span, it's a challenge! Shern is gmt +8, I am gmt -5, mosquito is gmt +1, Frumius is gmt -8, and I don't even know where twolf is or where you are ...
Even though there is room for improvment and undoubtedly more featuers SGN can add to SoG, I have to admit they've pretty much got the physics and the realism down to a T! DeJaVu!... it's almost as if you were navigating through the screen of your "idevice" ... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9O9leOmDDGk&feature=fvw *contains audio
FAST, don't you mean Spitfire? Or is "Seafire" some Brit thing? Over here (USA) we called 'em Spitfires.
Now now... no need to get touchy, I'm sensitive It's all good old fashioned banter, what a lively forum as this needs. As was mentioned earlier about the size of this thread, I doubt it would have reached this length without the characters and input that have been a part of it... and after all, this good old fashioned banter brought you out of the wood work An, since when have you seen someone post a screenshot of themselves being blown up Hmm... far too many Sigs of mine, i'll reduce the amount I post from now on
Yep, Spitfire is their offcial name... *disclaimer to all plane-spotters pls do not request my head if any of the following information is incorrect. I am merely transcribing from one source to another end of disclaimer ...As the Mks advanced they were given the nickname Seafire in line with their modifications that allowed them to be launched from Sea Carriers. Seafire is a shortened version of the name Sea Spitfire I thought it was different so decided to adopt the term when referencing them
Fast, So u're from England? Then I think u're the first British I know in this forum. Welcome! Has the spitfire ever painted red in history? Nice signature u have. Maybe SAB can make one like this also.
