Sometimes I have very good moments while playing with them. Then I get them down too, it's like zen... It just happens and you can't explain it exactly... and you can't get into this state by wanting it. It's kind of knowing what's happening next in advance... It's knowing the spot where he will be, when you pull the trigger... It's little bit sad that this is only possible with the red zero... with a weaker plane they have control over you. EDIT: the setting is important to: which planes, how many players, and so on... If sola is engaged with keebler, I have more chance to get one of them. If they are alone it's different... EDIT: and, not to forget: the ranking has a lot to do with the amount of time you spend in SoG.
What you are describing is what athletes call "being in the zone". You are describing wu wei and no you can not get to this state of being by trying hard to do so. When I am able to find it myself, it is almost a state of total bliss. Yes it is sad that the red zero is so dominant over all the other planes. Honestly I fear the developers might have inadvertantly shot themselves in the foot on that one. I think they are going to have to make some faster planes. Yes ranking does have a lot to do with how much time you spend, and quite honestly I don't believe that my current rank makes me any better of a player than a lot of my friends and others, but I did persue it because it gave me a goal to accomplish. I have never felt particularly competitive against others. I do what I do to push myself. That and nothing more, indeed I find it exhilerating to see others push themselves and improve... with anything that they do! I find it so much fun to watch some of these guys getting better and better everyday!
I wanted to train solowing a little. And to make the fight a little more challenging I took the BF. But then skyninja came in. It is a bad feeling, sitting in a BF when skyninja enters. I had to leave because I didn't want to become a line in his poems
Michael Jordon stayed "in the zone" during his prime years. CHUCK NORRIS doesn't get "in the zone"...He is the ZONE!
Who is this "skyninja"? I will let him feel the wrath of SITH LORD should he ever enter my domain!! zzzzzzzzzZZZzzzzzzzzzz...there goes that sound again?? Keebler, please don't squash me.
If we really get 18 characters for room names, I will create a room called "in the zone" maybe it will help.. but maybe it is filled with frumius, sola, origami, keebler, NeLge, GN-0000, and pvt. Gump... and all of them are watching you when you enter...
That's why I just stay in the red zero... I will just fly really sloooow and relaxed sometimes! Then when someone good comes in I kick it up several notches! Also alot of times I will pick out a noob in a p-38, who is trying really hard and has a great attitude. When I reach that state where the guns quit working I will try and find this person, and let them shoot at me. That way if I don't get the bail out, at least this noob with a great attitude gets a feeling of accomplishment for shooting me down! Hopefully it offers some encouragement to them to keep with it and buy a better plane and get better
I don't know... a girl with this name... nobody heard about her all the time and then suddenly she comes in and makes holes in your plane? I know it's not easy to make holes in your plane. Smells like a reroll or the iphone of keeblers wife...
I'm not sure. It's funny that a girl is putting holes into Chuck Norris. I thought Chuck Norris is the one with a huge and long lightsaber?
I always want to fly in different planes to play with the newbies, from P40 to Spifire to Mosquito to P38. But these monsters come in with their Z3 and spoil all my fun. Now I've to always stick to Z3 in case they come in. Just kidding. Any monster are welcome to grill me.
Actually being at home with the family is the least stressful part of my life... believe it or not... Today, had to shift a one tonne piece of metal work we are putting in for a house extension!
