I think instead of saying a backwards dive it would be better to say an upsidedown dive. So, while flying upside down you pull up as hard as you can and your plane dives to earth. It's also good because at this point you are right side up and ideally right on the tail of the person you went h2h with. I should get together (as if I had any spare time) a template for google sketch-up or something like that where we can all draft a catalogue of dogfight maneuvers.
it's incredibly fast, yes.. but it's like the red spit.. I just don't like them.. I like the BF and the white zero... ok and the gray mustang... in fact.. if no top20 player is around, it doesn't differ very much whether I fly BF or red zero... the BF takes little much longer to take them down.. and I have to bail out more often... but it's fun and I kill all of them whether they fly red zeros or not. I'm glad it's still like this: skill with a bad plane is better than no skill and a good plane...
I was flying it too.. I liked it, specially because of it's name I forgot to take it out of the hangar again.. It really becomes a problem if you have too much planes to fly them all.. lol If I see one in the air, I just think: It's huge! It looks like two planes... And I never had a opponent with enough skill to beat me with a mosquito. I never saw sola or keebler flying one...
I created a room BF & p40 1 BF (me) and 1 p40.. all others hat red zeros or p-38 Nowbody respects the room title.. by the way.. the room are filling extremly quick... but then, if players leave, nobody comes in again. Is this because all "quick match players" go direct in this quick x rooms? New players are not willing to choose rooms I think...
pecobar was really strong in h2h... he is a good attacker... like al quaeda... (I didn't see him for weeks now) SAB LT is a noob
they are not good enough to be scouted out, lol I was if a BF and they were in red zeros... I had not much problems to get them both
It's not a bug. It's just not implemented... it seems it's not important for SGN. Frumius mentioned it some hundreds of posts before. It's known. Now Sola is the first who is hit.
nice idea... I only know one or two maneuvres.. the rest is reflex, luck, zen or whatever... Would be interresting to work on. I asked razvan some weeks ago (or somebody else of the SoG staff) if it's possible to know which 3D software was used and if it's possible to get the meshes and the mapped images.. just to play around...
cool training method for beginners and advanced players... Enter a DTB room. Choose one where you have players in the opposite team who fly straight and fast with rockets to destroy your base. Don't try to destroy their base. Only protect your base. Fly mid speed, wait until they come... try to get as much of them as you can... Let the other teammate destroy the ennemy base. Don't care about this. Don't care about your team loses the round. Just get the attacking planes. All of them. (Then your team will win. Except they are all idiots.) It will take about five rounds until the normal attackers start to think about, what is happening. Then they try to get you with their rockets. At this point, lesson 2 is starting.
nice game keebler.. thanks that you didn't attack me. In the BF I have no chance against you. Once you got killed and this gave me a easy kill. I knew the other must smoke like hell. And he did. Two time I had to shout out ARGHH ARGHH ARGHHH... I was on 20% health, moving was difficult, only single MG and I was chasing a corsair and later a red zero.. keeping at his six... shooting with this crappy MG... chasing.. sweating blood... then finally he starts to smoke... he smokes more... cool!! ... he burns... I get him, wow..!!! and then: keebler arrives and eats him... ARGHH
I started one yesterday called "BF109 Only" and I'm sure you would have jumped in if you had seen it. As it turned out Sola was the only person to show up wearing the appropriate attire. Most everyone else showed up in Yaks and Zeros. Made for a challenging environment but that didn't seem to stop Sola in the slightest. I reckon he would have dominated even in a P40! Ps. I joined or created a few P40 only rooms yesterday as well and found the slow motion P40 dogfights to be very therapeutic (that is when everyone was actually in a P40). Almost felt like meditation.......
I still like to use the gray mustang myself, and sometimes the white hein. The BF is good too, sometimes I like the P-38, but I don't like getting caught in them when Sola or Origami or GN-000 shows up in there red zeros, and I don't like leaving and not playing with them, so I have just been sticking to the red zero. I wish the other planes had better speed now.
You know I think that's always going to happen. I think the only way around that is to create private rooms and just announcing them here.
