i agree! I so wanted the P38 to be a great plane to use and I was disappointed by it. It's rather large in the game too so an easy target although it's armour is tough enough. I'm still waiting for a P47. I'd pay big bucks to fly that plane if it was calculated properly. It would be a destroying type of machine....super fast, lots of cannons - it's specs would be on par with the ZIII in my opinion
Also... I must first say that I don't compare in skill with these other players but I also find that when approaching for a head to head while upside down I can easily do a backwards dive to get on the tail of the person I just went head to head with.....does that make sense?
It makes sense NPK. I never engage in a H2H anymore due to my Zero II firepower, but when the 3G iPad is in stores I'll pick up a iTune giftcard and buy the Zero III or if SGN releases a 'super' plane
I wouldn't mind using Zero-III. it's one of the best looking plane. But to have a plane that's most powerful without any nemesis makes the game a little boring. The Yak-3 I is suppose to beat Zero3 in firepower with good handling capable of doing dogfight with zero3. Right after Razvan fixed the bug on damage formula, the Yak3 firepower becames extremely powerful, able to down most plane in a second. I was enjoying the yak3 firepower. It's like laser cannon. Then in the next day, I find the yak3 firepower was tamed down a lot. And Cometti report and I've also verified that the yak3 firepower has indeed become less than zero3. And the mosquito 5 star firepower rating is also no match to zero3. I strongly believe someone has changed the Yak3 firepower number to be less than Zero3. I hope Razvan and Shawn is reading this and correct the code in the server accordingly. Let the 5 star be 5 star, 4 star be 4 star. This is not the only discrepency. Mosquito is only 2.5 star in speed but it's max crusing speed is that of 4 star, at 550km/hr, even faster than P38.

Yes it is! I was really close, but my wife made me watch "Desperate housewives" with her, then I fell asleep on the couch. My son woke me up wanting a bottle so that's why I'm up right now! Now I can go back to sleep!
I thought you'll be turning faster by going up than going down? By pitching up, your speed will reduce and this will make your turn tighter. By being upside down and pitch down to the ground, your speed will increase and wider turns. Make sense?

Has any played Mr Bakkake? His Zero-III firepower is too powerful. I'm wiped out in an instant in h2h. And in dogfight I don't know how he killed me in an instant also. My Bukkake, if u're reading this, I must say u're no way near my monster list. U're almost in my cheaters list. I hate players who have some unfair advantage over everyone beause his firepower is somehow too powerful for the same plane. Edit: I think he's a TA member too. Hope he can clarify that he's not cheating.
But it was a BIG plane--largest single engine fighter of the war-- so would be a big target in SoG. Might be a drawback. Which dimension is used by SoG?
