wow.. cool game keebler and NeLge.. sorry orion for killing you... I just saw one of theese red little planes. If I don't kill them they kill me I tried for the first time after the update the zero III. It's insane, this plane. As I got shot, I knew it must be keebler or NeLge. "normal" players don't even see me in the Zero. And if they do, they are dead. But they never can shoot me down. Not in a plane like this. If you want to make real cometitions, you have to use the same plane.. In a p40 sola is not more dangerous than me.
The 262 would be interesting if they tried to model it on the original. It would get a 5 for speed, of course, but it apparently was not very maneuverable. Don't know too much about protection, but I think it was well-armed. For the sake of argument, I wonder what a plane that was 5 stars speed & firepower, 2 stars handling, and, say 3.5 armor would be like.

You too, nice to see you back in the air. Somehow since the new release rooms fluctuate in size much more. Frankly, I enjoy 2v2 more than 4v4 - I can't keep track of everyone in a room of 8! The real ballet pilots are people like Origami and GN. Watching them swoop around in their red Zeros is amazing, as are their kill rates.
I don't think raw speed counts for much in SoG. What makes the Zero-III so amazing is not so much speed as acceleration, combined with agility. What speed did for you in WW2 was give the pilot the option of breaking away safely to disengage. That's pretty difficult to do (and not so useful) in SoG – once you're in a dogfight, it's usually better to keep your enemies close.

I was m0squito and as I saw Orion I changed to SABswiss... it was a "AArrgggghh it must be keebler"... the room was so harmless before you got in... EDIT: I was flying without uniform for some time.. If you fight against red zeros you just don't have the time to read the names first. Or do you?
I've come to the conclusion that the P-38 is my favorite plane shoot down for the simple reason it's such a beautiful plane to look at (except for the Cap America paint job). How ironic, it's beauty is what causes me to single them out and destroy them. I feel so conflicted.........how tragic this game doesn't have a plane spotting mode. So P-38 pilots take note that thenceforth I will occasionally follow you around very closely (don't get nervous) but it's only because I want to admire the beautiful lines of your plane So please do not shoot at me. I really do not want to be forced to shoot down another P-38. Please don't make me do it again!
I know what you mean. I waited for the P-38, and think that it's better than cracked up to be (don't forget that while "the bug" was in effect it would have suffered significantly, so first impressions weren't totally accurate). Nevertheless, I flew the red Zero tonight & it can do things the other planes can't. But at heart, I'm still a P-38 kind of guy. What to do, what to do? (I guess the God-awful Captain America paint job takes some of the sting out of not flying the Lightning.)
Unfortunately there's not much we can do until they give us a P-38 that can stack up against the zero-III. Let's hope they don't release a zero-IV at the same time!
lol usually i can read the names, but sometimes when my eyes are seeing red from blood splattering against my cockpit during the heat of the battle, names get lost lol i just had a fantastic noob filled game. too bad I have to keep leaving the game to preserve my kills due to what has to be a bug I could have seriously racked up the score. It's also nice to see newer folks buying new planes. I hope it helps them out b/c I know I found a huge difference not using the included P40.
It's a good plane but I feel I'm forced to fly it right now to be competitive. Personally there's just no feeling of 'love' or connection for me with the zero (or Yak for that matter). When I use it I just don't get that extra satisfaction of flying a plane I really admire. Anyways that's just me. To each his own.
Yes! Each to his own! Hopefully since now 3 of the four major country in the war have their 'super' plane I can't wait for what they got for Germany! A toast to you all!
if it's a superplane, i would probably buy it for the sake of collecting and skirmish play. but not online EDIT: ya i got some BFMs
