Cometti, Thanks a lot for the test results again! Razvan, Looks like there is still bug. Based on Comett's results, the actual firepower is ranked as follows: arranged from weakest to strongest. The zero-III firepower is even more powerful than those with 5stars rating in firepower. And the Mosquito seems to be underpowered.
Thanks very much again, Cometti. Did you do this test using the internet multiplayer? The devs tell us that the damage there is set by the servers, whereas with bluetooth play the damage is set by the game. And I don't want to seem greedy, but do you have data on cannons/MG as well? Do you think all armaments follow the same formula?
Based on Razvan's formula, all armaments follow the same formula: Plane1 shoot at plane2 Damage caused by plane1 = armament firepower rating * plane1 firepower rating / armor rating of plane2 I have did a few tests using cannon and found the zeroIII is still more powerful in firepower than yak-3. This is different from what is being tested yesterday. Yesterday yak-3 is really more powerful than zero-III. But today it is swap. Edit: Thanks to Cometti's report, we all now know that Zero-III is the best plane in every aspect: highest speed, highest handling and highest firepower with high armor. So there's no need to decide between this plane and that plane. Just choose Zero-III and u just won't go wrong.
Thanks tee-em, Thanks shern, Yes, I tested using the internet multiplayer.I doesn't try in the Bluetooth mode, yet. It is wonderful to be able to adjust the power of the airplane by changing the server. I liked it very much. The rocket was always giving constant damage. However, the machine-gun sometimes gave different damage. For instance, Cannon of Tempest-II makes the life of Zero-I a half by six shot. Sometimes, Tempest-II destroys Zero-I in spite of the same condition. In an old version, I did not notice. Secrets of the number of stars might be hidden there possibly. I am not playing latest version enough . I cannot judge whether the number of stars is correct yet.
Yes, just choose the zero III. I was kind of hoping that they would never realse this long rumored super zero, but now that they have I really do hope that they continue to realease the third generation of fighters that can hold there own against it. Stat wise in the speed aspect you would think the new mustang could. I really don't understaind how they can be rated identical in this aspect, but yet the zero just blow it away! I tell you though now that I have gotten used to the new zero, I just can't adjust to the slow speed of the other planes. I never like feeling stuck using one plane. It was like this when the white hein came out as well.
Don't use rockets in online play. You can't dogfight with them, and you will get killed a bunch. Buy a plane, either the red zero or the blue yak. You will die alot if you stick with the free plane, even if you don't use rockets
You can hop right in to the free multiplayer games over the net. If your looking to do the campaigns, then all you need are the planes provided, and most of the missions you will need rockets. I would start with buying a campaign first, or do the dogfight missions (which I do believe are free) in the free plane to get the feel of the game.

Great to see ya TM Hey it was great to see you TM, too bad there was only one person in the SAB room. Also I was wondering, SAB doesn't stand for School of American Ballet right? Just kidding, I was watching some movie trailer and they had the initials SAB when talking about some dancer from another country and it's funny because I was reading the description of the movie and when I saw SAB the first thing that came to mind was Sgarrista Air Brigade.....but seriously you guys are so skilled and graceful in the way you all shoot me down it's almost like a ballet. You guys should just hope nobody tries to join SAB with a name like [SAB] Swan Lake...hehhe
