Are you still having the control issues as well? I can see why you've been kinda cranky lately, having both issues must really suck! Did you try doing a hard reset of your ipod? Also did you go back into the training mission to recalibrate your controls?
Hey, I'm just asking a harmless question. It's harmless, right? But I'm 99% sure she or he is a guy. No girl will ever be interested in this game. I know i have fell in love with Shuyun and Huilin (wait, I think I have reserved Shuyun for Frumius) in the FAST days but I am still pretty sure they are guy players using their girlfriend names.
Back when I used to play FAST, I would get destroyed constantly by "hot girl with an F-16". heh heh... kind of funny, but not really, especially after loosing match after match.
I really don't like that girl. She come out with multiple names with girl word and always flies the F16. She''s a re-roll btw. But all that is a distant past now.
Razvan, I'm thinking, if the control issue is not affecting 3GS, then is there anything I can do on my 3G 8GB to minimise the problem? Like removing all applications, clearing all my SMS etc?
This is something that can't be done in SoG. A re-roll is someone who reset his game ID and scores, re-starting with a new name but is a very skilled and experienced player. In FAST, the only way to change name is to do a reset which will reset your scores also back to starting point. So when u see a player with low score but plays very well, he's definitely a re-roll.
You guys having the control issues never did say if you went to the tutorial to recalibrate things.....

This doesn't fix the control issue. I know about the calibration thing long time ago. Hey, I think I'm into fixing the control problem. I checked my SMS and find there are tons of messages in there and kept there since last year. So I remove all of them. Then I restart my iphone, and then clear all the Safari history and caches, and remove all the webpages except 1. The control becomes much better now. It's not perfectly normal. My plane still roll off or swing off suddenly occasionally in full 8 players room, but i really felt significant improvement. Now i'm gonna try removing all my apps and see how it goes.

I just read in facebook from James Kirsch: "Personally I like the short names. Yes they are harder to see. That's called strategy." It's a bad strategy, because you get killed by SAB, lol
I deleted several apps also, don't think it had anything to do with the problems. Today, so far, it's been running smooth. Only 1 of the mountain maps was sluggish, but still playable (against noobs). Feels like I'm in a hot air balloon when I try to make sudden movements.
It's a FAST term. It's for a player who changes name (In FAST this means you start with 1200 point like a noob who starts playing.) So you can meet a master in clothes of a noob. He was at the top, very skilled and then he rerolls, that means he goes back to start and begins a new caareer until he is on the top again.
Crashes and jerkiness I've been reasonably fortunate also, though I have experienced both problems to a minor degree. The most troublesome thing for me since the upgrade is the number of games in which some or all of my opponents have very jerky motions, and/or suddenly teleport from one place to another. This is not usually associated with sluggishness or jerkiness in my own controls. It is more common in full rooms, but that may be just because there are more people there and it's therefore more likely that a few of them will have the jerks. My guess is that this is due either to network slowness or server overload, or both, but it seems much worse in V2 than it was in V1, even though the network and servers are presumably the same.
