It's ok. I just tried the game. My God! The firepower of Yak-3 I is overwhelming and I can really feel the difference when I change to Zero3. I am gonna stick go Yak-3 again.
GG Handy, shame I got in so late, me and Sola got in a 1st to 29 room after that one... Sola, when you said 'ouch' did you want me to stop shooting at you? I wasn't really sure, gg anyway! haha, and who was 'NeLgesmate' I'm guessing M*I*A as I saw you just prior to that?? but when you got in you made the mistake of saying 'hasta la vista' so I turned straight towards you thinking that was your intention, but after a couple of 'ouchs' I don't think it was?? good game anyway!
I'm not sure what changed because SGN guys made the update. They said that a bug about joining rooms was fixed. Razvan.
Wow, Cometti, great work in all of your tests! Razvan, thanks for responding so quickly and thoroughly! But what about Cometti's earlier findings about the relative firepower of each plane not being consistent with their Star Rating when shooting at a building? http://cometti.jp/sog_test/firepower_e/ Was that inconsistency also due to the same bug? Also, were these bugs also happening in the solo levels? If so, then the server-side fix would not eliminate those bugs when playing solo, I think.

Hello Frumius, Yes the bug was happening on skirmish and multiplayer modes. It is fixed on multiplayer but on skirmish is not. On multiplayer the server dictates the damage and in skirmish the device. The bug will be solved in the next update, for skirmish. In the other 2 modes, campaign and dogfight, the armor and firepower doesn't count because it would change the game flow difficulty. About the relative firepower of each plane not being consistent, this happen because some planes have more firepower and more armor (like the Tempest). This will result in harder to kill targets if playing with those planes, because enemy armor is replaced with your armor (with greater stats). Cheers, Razvan.

Back to 10 players...again I know what's the problem. SoG has gone back to 10 players game! Even though the room name state 8 max players, but inside are actually 10 players now. No wonder my control has been wacked up again. Please make it back to 8 players otherwise some of us just can't play the games. This is making me losing lots of grounds as players with better device can still continue to play normally.
You know, I just realized something, all those noobs and people who are just too cheap to buy a plane, are probably having a really tough day all of a sudden!
Cometti's wonderful chart has also revealed something...that the armor of Zero-III is actually very thin. Based on his findings, before the bug removed, Zero-III cause higher damage to the building than Yak-3 I. Looking at the equation, Zero's damage > Yak's damage ==> Zero's firepower/Zero's armor > Yak's firepower/Yak's armor ==> 4.5/Zero's armor > 5.0/Yak's armor ==> Zero's armor < 0.9 of Yak's armor ie. ZeroIII's armor is less than 90% of the Yak's armor. So after the bug fix, it is no wonder that when I was 1v1 against a zero-III player, I down his plane in h2h with my health still somewhere at 75%. And I can do 3x h2h with him and win before I bail out. So the stats may really be like this: Zero-III Speed: 4.5 Armor: 3.5 Firepower: 4.5 Handling: 5.0 Yak3-I Speed: 4.0 Armor: 4.0 Firepower: 5.0 Handling: 4.5 Which looks reasonable since a faster plane and more manuevable plane should have less armor and firepower.
Yes I had thought of that too! The red zero seemed more dominant than it needed to be. I was always doing well in H2H's with it.... obviously because IT had bad armor. Chances are I will likely abandon it for the Yak or go back to my trusty gray mustang. Won't know for sure though, till I see how it goes!

I told you, you need to reset your user data if you want them to stick around! They don't run from anybody who has just unlocked the 10 multiplayer kills achievement!
Sigh...I wanted to target 16,400 scores tonight. But I can't play with the control problem. I've been waiting for reply from SoG in the facebook regarding the control issue. I need to sleep now. It's 1am now. SoG is just punishing those poor players who can only afford to buy iphone 3G 8GB and every planes and bundles in the game.
