Try skirmish mode with eight players. I did just now (when no one was looking at work)and the controls still seem a bit weird to me. Playing online I did notice some improvement with the cap at eight players but it's still worse than before the update. Furthermore, if you could play with on your wife's 3GS without problems but not your 3G using the same internet connection than logic says the problems have got to be related to the 3G phones hardware (memory, speed, wifi chipset?????). Can you try that experiment again?
I've concluded that it's hardware issue not Internet connection. To try playing using my wife 3GS, I need to use commando infiltration tactic to get her iPhone and play without her notice. I think I've ran out of excuses. I will try again but can't promise.
Hello again guys! Glad to see SAB is opening a can of whoop ass on the symbol kiddies. Mr null sits in 20th position... go get him. Don't know if he realizes it or not but Handy and I have be fighting for 17th. Seems like we change back and forth a few times a day. I'm glad SGN decided to show more than just the top 10 in the high scores. Question for you Gods. Do you play with sound? I don't because the way I hold my iphone my right index finger covers the speaker and my left covers the headphone jack. I've used bluetooth in the past but the delay bugs me. Yesterday I tried plugging in the earbuds and I discovered (though listening) that I'm not always pressing the cannon left button. That's got to add at least a half a kill to my kill death ratio! One other thing since I'm here, NeLge you are ridiculously good. I appreciate your skills, man.

Not only can you tell if you missed your gun trigger, you can hear when you're getting hit, you can hear if the other guy speeds up or slows down, you can hear your own engines. It's all cues you can get without looking, so that no matter what you're looking at you are still gathering such information. The more sensory input the better, the sooner you're aware of a situation or the more aware you are of your surroundings. If you can't hear, you're flying blind! ...Wait. Something like that. You know what I mean. I play on my son's iPod touch, which has a tiny speaker that poops sound out the dock connector -- not that great, but it'll do in a pinch. My preference is headphones, especially his Skull Crusher headphones. Man, with those things pumping the sound of the engine's throaty roar, my blazing guns, and explosions of vanquished friends and foes all around me, I'm certain that I am actually in the cockpit! Hey! I remembered a bug: I keep getting all my "Frumius has achieved X-Number of Godlikes/Bailouts/ etc" again. I maxed all that stuff out ages ago. What's that all about? .

Trex, Sound is very important in the game. U'll be handicapped without sound. U got to figure a way to hold your iPhone such that u can have sound. I use earplugs with wire connected to my iPhone.

Sigh... I can't catch up with Sola. He's so fast. But I also can't play as much now. I need to start teaching my 3 kids English and maths at nights and I need to sleep earlier to have enough sleep to handle my workload and family matters. And the recent control issue has make me lost lots of grounds. Will slowly retire from top10 but it's perfectly ok. I just need to enjoy each game.

Great attitude u have! U have the making of becoming another monster! But I really recommend u to switch to Zero III. No way u can win against Yak3 or Zero III using P38 unless they are noobs. But pls don't use Yak3. It's for me to shoot down Zero III in h2h and sometimes in dogfight.
