Lance, Wow! U replied fast! Thanks a lot. Regarding the score, it's better to play for a few kills, exit the game and come back, than to keep playing in a lobby for as many as more than 100 kills, right? Really looking forward for other leadership boards because the existing leadership board is really showing top10 addicts of which I'm one of them. I love this game!
The Zero. I suddenly see lots of Zeros in the game after SGN started the sales. I also got one too with the 0.99 sales.
Hi Lance, These are the top10 scoreboards that we hope to see in near future: 1) top 10 number of godlike kills. 2) top 10 average number of net kills (kills-death) per play. 3) top 10 number of crashes. 4) top 10 number of bailout. Anyone else have other suggestions on the top10. And it will be good to expand the top10 to top20.
Lance, Thanks for your participation in our forum! I really appreciate it. Yes, I like those leader board ideas! BUT: let's have a much longer list than merely the Top Ten (top 1000?). People want to see their names in there. Also: Local scores, the way FAST does. I would like to see consistency rewarded more in the scoreboards. That means that the Kill Ratio would be a larger factor. However, I do understand that someone could get a couple kills, no deaths, leave the game forever and have an awesome kill ratio. You'd have to figure out how to overcome that, yet still reward a high kill ratio. Perhaps after a lot of kills (500? 1000?) the Kill Ratio would become more of a factor? Not sure how best to handle that. To keep one guy from sitting at the top long after he's quit playing, if a pilot goes dormant for too long (a month?) perhaps you could reset his score -- or let it begin to decay! How about adding a Leader Board per aircraft type? See who the best Corsair pilots are, Spitfire, Mustang, etc. That could be fun. Your end would have to compute # of kills any pilot had with any given plane type. Cheating: Someone could gain an artificially high Kill Ratio by leaving the game each time his health got below 50%. They could then rejoin and repeat. That ruins the spirit of the game, in my opinion. We have bailing out for that, which is riskier, but that's what it's all about. To prevent this "cheating" how about making it count as a death if one quits while below 50% health? That would help eliminate artificially high Kill Ratios. Let them bail out like the rest of us!
Top10 by plane specific will not work well because there are people who keep switching planes, like me. How about adding the nationality flag beside the players' name in the top10?
It would work well. You might be the top ace in every plane type in a given statistical category, or you might only excel in one plane type. You could get, say, 20 Godlikes in a row in 2 different planes, and be ranked pretty well in terms of a stat like" Godlikes-in-a-Row" for those two different planes. The server would have to keep track of your stats for each of the planes in your hangar. Lance, How about a Leader Board for "Most Kills in a Row" (before being shot down or exiting the room). .
I think the planes were only supposed to be on sale today, but today's not over. At least not in the US.
I thought so too. I was trying to buy a Zero earlier and it kept saying "This item is being modified." It's not even midnight on the east coast in US and definitely wasn't midnight about an hour ago. Edit: one more thing I just noticed. I still get the banner that says "All Planes One Special Price!" And the prices on the planes are $0.99. However, when I go to purchase it, it still says $2.99. So just be careful if you get the same thing.
Hi Lance, I forgot I have 2 more burning questions to ask you: 1) where do we unlock 18 planes? Currently we can only unlock 10 planes through the existing market. 2) is there any new plane or new weapon to unlock after completing 100 dogfights?? I also want to say I'm willing to pay couple of dollors on colour customized planes. Eg, SGN can let us choose the color and markings from some choices to put on our plane, and we can pay for each color and marking.
All I really want from this game is to be a bit more descriptive with the DLC bundles. You should be VERY clear about what you are selling if you want people to buy them. What kind of missions? What does skirmish mode entail? Etc. I really don't think you can make 95 INDIVIDUAL dogfights, as it's usually just x number of opponents, y number of allies, fight, but, hey, maybe I'm lacking in imagination. Skirmish mode sounds nice ... I think ... if I knew what the options were for setting up the game anyway. Who knows? Not buying cuz I can't find further information anywhere.
This is actually explained in the game, because there are demo sections of both Campaign and Skirmish modes. Play those, and you'll know what you're getting more of. It really doesn't take much thought.
Hi and happy new year! I have met u in SoG. I supposed u're always in BF109? Is FRA your squadron? Or it stands for France?
