I know how keen you were for this so hope you get it sorted- I don't believe you will be able to give it up! I'm pretty indifferent on this update to be honest, I'm definately a FFA player but I don't really see 10 in a room being beneficial over 8 and before I was always having connection issues and jerkiness so hopefully it won't be even worse now. More importantly, my spitfire/corsair and mustang are now pointless, please give me a super spitfire! (In blue and white M*I*A!!) Anyway, see you all soon in a nice new red zero

Should i upgrade?? Did anybody loose his planes/missions?? Also what abt the new offline mission?? Any good or is it just the same as other offline missions??
Shern, thanks very much, but you belong there too! I am having similar issues with handling, I don't feel as precise, even back in mustang, this is bad news, and like you said, it seems to rotate on its own on occasion
And of the 3 new planes -Yak-3, P-38, and Zero III which one should i buy?? I tend to over steer and overshoot the target every now and then .Alos need a decent armour as long as it doesn't slow down the plane too much!!
So should i update or not?? My wifi isn't terribly fast but i never had too much issues with the old version?? Eager to try out new planes and the addl. offline mission pack
I don't think this is a wi fi issue, it sounds just like shern said, I'm over rotating and can't line people up etc, its a lot worse than what I was used to, I'll try again later and see if it's any better after resetting etc
I am finding it difficult to adjust to the new planes... Have a problem on getting a checkmate on my frags! I get people to a bail out state and then someone else steals my kills after a long hard dog fight... ARGH! You guys seem to adjust really quickly to new planes, it takes me a day or to to get the feel of them!

I gotta get myself one of those! IN REPLY TO EVERYONE... I have had no network problems, jerkiness or slowness with the upgrade (or the old version)... YET! Sick Man!
Choose the Zero III if u're a Japanese. Choose the Yak if u're a Russian. Choose the P38 if u're American. If u're not from any of this countries, buy the P40 II. Just joking. The Zero III is best in handling followed by firepower The Yak is best in firepower followed by handling The P38 is best in armor followed by firepower. So it's up to your style of fighting and which one u think is the most factor to help u win :handling, firepower or armor.
It is wifi issue. If u felt the problem, go back to the offline matches and whoala, the issue seems to be fixed. I think what happen is there are now more data transfering back and forth after the new update. So the control instruction given to our planes will be delayed if our internet speed do not meet a minimum threshold value.
U should update. Can u still play the game when everyone is updated? If no update, u can't get the better planes right? The mustang, hien and fw are outdated with the arrival of the red zero, yak and P38.
Nope. I'm going to UK that has the better internet and it's nearer to Romania where the server is located.
Oh no! Wow, this is sadder than the ending to old yellow! I wouldn't worry about it to much Shern, I know that Shawn is aware of the connectivity issues and I am sure they are working on it. In the meantime, perhaps you should develop a severe addiction to coffee! Don't they have Starbucks in Singapore Shern? I would think so, they are everywhere. See right now your just stressed and not thinking clearly... if you develop a sudden "addiction to coffee" you can then play with a good connection, and have an excuse to tell your wife so you can slip past her and play Of course the down side is, she might start suspecting your having an affair, and the next thing you know, you might have a P.I following you everywhere you go! Yeah, just don't over do it and you'll be fine till they have this all sorted out Oh and thanks about wishing me well when I hit the big 10
Yep that's me as well. I didn't even have any problems with the whole name + room thing. It worked smooth as silk for me
