I just fought a red zero head to head and all I have to say is WOW!!!! I can't even get my sights on it! So agile, so powerful but when I do manage to have my sights and blasting it with cannons for a long while and my bullet just bounce off of it. I think we must make a Class 4 for these new "super" planes
You know I have only played these new planes a few times now, but I think so far I like the Yak the best of the new ones. I'm going to take the red zero out for another spin. I went ahead and bought all the new planes, and honestly I'm feeling like I have a bit of sensory overload at the moment. As of right now, I certainly feel the most comfortable in my old trusty gray mustang.... but that could just be because I'm not used to these things yet. I have to say, I'm really not all that impressed so far with the P-38. I think the good one is ugly as hell too! It looks like it belongs more in a Captain America comic book than anyplace else!
Shern, try adjusting your controller sensitivity level down to about 80%, and then try red again! I'm starting to feel the red zero! I don't think it's armor is all that great, but man is it agile! I can make it totally change directions in the blink of any eye! I also am not sure if I like all those rooms being so crowded now. I can say however that I am not experiencing anything being choppy. I am on a 3G ipod though, so that means fastest processor and over wi-fi.
Hi Lance,Razan,Shawn, Is the score formula remain the same after the update? Is there more points in destroying a base? Can you change the DTB flag system such that all the team members get 1 flag when enemy base is destroyed? This will encourage real team play where there is now incentive to defend the base. Some can choose to defend while others choose to attack. Current flag system just make everyone to rush to enemy base to grap the flag for himself.
I think that game would be fun if you still got a kill for destroying a plane, but perhaps you could get credit for say 5 kills for destroying the base? Getting no kills for destroying an enemy plane is just well lets say weird, for the sake of being nice
I'll try again when I get back home 5 hrs from now. Now still at work. Btw, the P38 does not look like Capt America's plane. It looks more like Chuck Norris plane. (I think Hazard will be aroused hearing this).
Haha! Yeah well I think Hazard is not a happy camper right now unfortunately. Don't worry Hazard, Shawn is aware of the choppiness issue, I figure getting that sorted is their #1 priority right now! When they do, Shern's right Chuck Norris just got himself the perfect plane! You know I can never play online while I'm at work because they route the wireless though an auruba network setup, and it drops you ever 3-5 minutes or so. On my breaks I play offline modes. Perhaps you should do that right now, and figure out all the planes. Also I would be curious if you set up rounds with 10 bots and see if that is still choppy on your iphone
Wow, really cool to have new planes. I bought the Capt America P-38-L-I, the YAK, and something else. I've only tried the P-38. I'm not sure, but I'm speculating that I have to be more precise in my aim than I used to have to be with the Grey P-51 (my beloved). Name Bug: I cannot change my name. I can't change my game's name, either. My name is now something like "sssssssssssssssss-brig" I forgot what. My game name is similar. I noticed it when I joined game for the first time after the update. My name was "SAB Frumius Sgarrista Air Brigade." It had added to my player name the name of the last game I hosted. I quit the match and tried editing my name. It would not delete. I held delete down forever and still did not delete. I tried the space bar. Nothing. I pounded on all the keys. Then one time I noticed that as I held delete down a bunch of "s's" were being typed in. I was never able to replace them with anything. Now both my own name and my game names are messed up, and I can't change either of them. I restarted the 2G iPod touch and it didn't help. EDIT: Ok, I FIXED IT! I deleted the app from the iPod and then reinstalled it. The weird thing is, I used to be able to be "SAB Frumius," but now I can't fit that space in there.
Look back a few pages, and in the SAB room. I think Shern has it figured out. I think it is a bug that should be addressed here soon Make sure you pick up the new red zero! It is the best handling plane in the game I think

the name now allowed only 10 characters. When u kept pressing delete, it showed sssssssssssssss. Mine showed 2222222222. I think is because of my original name Shern25 has a 2 while your name Frumius has a s.

Hey, Lav//erde, welcome to our little group! As for your problem, maybe delete the app and then re-sync it. Not sure if that'll fix everything, but it did fix my issue with my name (see a few posts above).
My wife just got a new iPhone 3GS and asked me to set it up for her. I can't wait to try SoG on it and see if there's difference from my 8GB 3G. But the question is how do I install the game without letting her know, given the fact that she does not want to see me playing this game. Mmmm.
