No kidding! I got dropped from that nice game we had going on with Hazard and Pvt. Gump. That Prv. Gump has just been added to my monster list! I went got my kid a cookie, wasn't gone for more than 30 seconds and the guy already had jumped ahead of me by 7 kills! What have they been feeding him???!!!! WOW!!!! Thanks for the info Origami about the new Fockewulf, I just bought it and the new Tempest. I'm going to try it out later, the new Tempest looks just like the last one though Brits get no love today I guess! Thanks for all the new planes recently developers! I'm liking this
Noe! I haven't seen it yet, won't until this evening when I can get my son's iPod touch in my hands, but it can't have dethroned my beloved grey/green P-51! That would be wrong! Cometti was in the new P-51 last night. We downstroyed each other, ruining our beautiful Mustang bodies.
I was in my Mustang for that game as well. I don't think I'll switch planes, but it's going to be interesting. I'll try out the new tempest too. I have noticed that sometimes the planes actually performance doesn't seem to coincide with the planes stats. Lets see for the new Fockenwulf Speed= 4 stars Armor= 4 stars Firepower= 4 stars Handling= 41/2 stars
I haven't had much of a chance to evaluate it yet, but my initial impressions are that it reminds me a bit of the BF but with a lot more teeth. I think Mosquito's going to love this thing. Too bad I have to start getting ready for work now! I'm going to have to put it though its paces later. I don't think it's enough for me to give up the new mustang. It's good though. Yes the new tempest really does suck, but I think it might just have the best firepower out of any of the planes in SoG. Good for just flying around lazily shooting down planes from a distance, but that's about it.
I had a few matches, TP and FFA, using the new FW190. Here's my first impression of the plane: - Felt slightly heavier than the mustang but I timed the turn rate they are quite matched. - Slightly slower max crusing speed than mustang (570km/hr vs 590km/hr) - The armor rating is not fake. It's worthy of 4 stars, same as Spitfire. - I'm quite doubtful of it's firepower, however. It not quite as powerful as mustang. - A great h2h fighter. - stalling speed same as smustang. So which is better, mustang or fw190? I can't tell yet. But Mosquito will certainly love this. And it's only 1.99 while Mustang is 2.99. Mmmm. Why? Guys, share your view on which is better, fw or p51?
So all the planes has been released: plane(speed/armor/Fpower/handling=total) USA: Mustang (4/3.5/4/4.5=16) and Corsair (4/3.5/4/4.5=16) --> 32 points Japan: Hien (4/3.5/4/4.5=16) and Zero (4/3.5/3.5/4.5=15.5) --> 31.5 points German: FW190 (4/4/4/4.5=16.5) and BF109 (3/3.5/4/4=14.5) --> 31 points England: Spitfire (3/4/4/4=15) and Tempest (2/4.5/4.5/2.5=13.5) --> 28.5 points Those in bold are what I consider as class1 fighters. Dang! The RAF don't have planes with handling at 4.5 and speed at 4.
OK I just completed a 25 frag game against the bots set to 100% difficulty. I hate to say it but I do belive the armor on this puppy pretty much gives it the edge to one up both the grey mustang and the new hien. I think this is probably the best plane now, but I'm still sticking with the grey mustang simply because I'm fonder of it. I do like though how lately they have been keeping the new class ones competive with each other. Great job with them
nope. i bought the FW and was in that with you and Haz (GG btw!). that was only a few minutes before I had to leave so i haven't had an extended game, but it felt good. i think it's like all the planes - just a matter of sitting in the cockpit for a length of time and getting used to it's own design. I was really feeling comfortable with the new 'stang as it seemed to slow down much faster than the FW does, but like I said, I've only had 1 game with the FW. will be on later today.
The green zero is now avalable for purchace. I just bought it and I have to say the stats just don't seem to do it justice somehow. I'm pleasantly suprised that at least after my initial test run it seems to be a solid performer. Not class 1 I don't think, but not bad. They have realeased 3 planes now today. I'm kind of wondering now if we are going to see the other Corsair here soon. I think I'm going to keep checking the store every couple of hours just to see what else shows up!
Yes.. I was in a room which keebler created... it was hard...a very tough room, and I was the fish among other fishes... but then, suddenly, the room was full of noobs, every plane more or less easy to shoot.. nobody there who killed you... keebler had left...
