Hello Shern, Yes you are politically correct , but I don't think there's time to make it right now. Planes can be added at any time into the game, without needing to update the version. Will address this probably after v1.1. To answer your questions: 1. Yes, the size of the planes does matter. For bullets collision area, only the length of the plane counts. 2. Yes, planes are stalling at different speeds. When getting out of a stall, the acceleration counts and this is different for each plane. Hope this helps. Cheers, Razvan.
Thanks a lot!!! Appreciated for answering the questions! So Corsair does has the disadvantage by being a much longer length than the Hien/Zero/BF etc. And Corsair has the worse stalling experience I felt. Are you in USA now? If u're are, you haven't slept have you?
Hi Razvan, I have another question: What is the meaning of Handling in the game found in the spec for each plane? How does it affect the game play by having more stars to this spec?
I work for Revo Solutions and I was the lead dev on FAST v1.0 and SOG v1.0. We didn't do the rest of FAST, just the first version. SGN is in charge with the promotions and freebies in SOG.
The handling stars are calculated with a formula that takes into account the maximum yaw/pitch/rolls angles that a plane can turn.
oh, cause SGN still hasn't given me the P40 Red Hawk version yet. that's what i was asking about shern. the SoG freebies, so it is relevant
So if both Hien and Corsair each having 4.5 stars in Handling, it does not necessary mean they have the same maximum pitch angle right? Can you let us know the maximum yaw/pitch/rolls angles for each plane in SoG?
Cool So when you play what name do you use? Also am I to understand that there will be no allied planes to match up against the hien? Right now I feel like we got the yin but ain't got no yang in that situation. I was hoping that there was a new grey mustang coming because Lance had told me a few weeks back to be expecting one. I was hoping that it would be a top tier plane, but I guess not now huh?? I think we all would aprieciate a little more varity in planes right now, as we are all pretty much used to all the subtle differences between them all right now. Might I ask what we might expect to see in the next update or is that all top secret right now. Also speaking of mustangs, it seems to me that everytime I use that one, I get blown up when people so much as sneeze at me. I find that puzzling because the armor speck on it isn't so bad. What accounts for that?
Yes there is the Grey Mustang, and we will balance with the Red Zero , also with the new Yaks. BTW, I played by the name "ComeGetSome" and I was in top 10 the first days then I let you guys enjoy the game . Cheers.
