Check monoprice.com. They apparently have some 3rd party case/batteries. I almost bought a morphie case for 50% off at christmas but didn't for some dumb reason. I might check out monoprice b/c I need the juice to support this habit lol
Thanks! My average speed is 141 kbps. But here's the thing: if their site is nearer to me geographically it's going to show a faster connection speed than it would for you, Shern. And if they were in Singapore, it would show my speed to be slower than it is for my usual web activity. If you could find a site that is local to your area it would give you the best true speed value for your phone. I bet they are US-based, so US people will have a higher kpbs value for it. OK, Dailytools.com, who hosts the site, is located in Huston, Texas. That's not very close to Asia, and it will not show your true speed for your local web surfing and other local internet stuff. If the SoG host you are playing on is in the US, then it's prolly accurate for that. But if you're playing a 2ch game, then you probably have a better connection to their game than you do to this speed test site. Here's their info: http://www.who.is/whois/dailytools.com/. I'm sure I don't have 141kbps when I play on a 2ch host, but I probably do have about that speed when I play on a US host.
The game hosting is different from FAST. I think SoG games are all held in SGN servers. Because the game is still there when the host quit. I had played against bot in dlc plane to have a feel of how fast I down an easy target. All along I've been taking longer time to down an online easy target than what I did in single player. Until I managed to find a hotspot outside my house that provide ~75kbps and I was killing as fast as offline mode. I think using my relative figure, my speed need to be > 60kbps to have a normal game play. The max speed in my home (wifi or 3G) is 54kbps and it tends to fluctuate down to as low as 14kbps. But I can't always go outside my house whenever I want to play.
Monoprice.. those guys are the bomb! I'm going to have to research that morphie case. They seem to be kinda pricey! Do they make a version, that allows you to store your headphones? The case I have now, does this and I love it for that.
