Don't tap real fast... keep the taps further apart. If you tap too much too quick then it'll shatter.
The ine that I find really hard is fly through a cabin with eagle. I always inevitably crash when trying to fly throught the cabin and offcourse lose the eagle in the process. Anybody has achieved this goal yet?
Yeah I've done it..it's called eagle thread ..it was actually an accident the first time I did it.. I was flying above a cave and dipped down and flew right through it.. But then when I got the quest I did it again above the cave.. It's easier that way.. So you don't have to swoop so low.. Or you could use the starter eagle, there's usually a cabin close to the beginning on howling hills.. Just stay low and go through the cabin.. (Restart if you don't get the track with the close cabin) I'm loving the Xmas update.. It feels so nice flying around with rudolf and the sleigh.
And its the best one yet... the santa snowmobile with 4 rudolphs gets pretty fast. Love-this-game-so-much
How do you do the double cloud burst one? I have tried flying high with the eagle and diving on various levels, but it doesnt seem to work -- I can only burst one cloud.
I'm stuck on that one too, but I think it's just dumb luck of hitting the right jump and busting through the clouds. ... The Christmas update is pretty awesome. I played some of that last night and had a lot of fun.
I have played, for me, a decent amount, and am just finally getting my 5,000th coin. I'm afraid to spent it, since I have no idea what is actually useful. What does the coin magnet do? Is that the thing to save for? Or is there a reason to unlock the new level other than variety?
Coin magnet is great.. Probably the best thing you can buy, and should be the first thing you buy so you accumulate coins faster.. It does exactly what it says, it magnetizes coins, so if you ski past and accidentally jump over the coin line, the coins will automatically be sucked up. It doesn't suck up all coins you see on the screen though, it only sucks the coins up if you are close to them. (Ie- if you are on the ground and there are coins high up on a cloud in the sky, you won't get those coins) however of you jump high enough you can collect the cloud coins.. It has helped me alot, I seemed to always just miss coin patches, and not much in the store actually helps you other than the magnet, and the doubler, everything else is pretty much just cosmetic changes..except those disposable rockets.. Which I wouldn't waste my money on yet..the other jet pack is good, of you get eaten by the avalanche you get shot a fair distance away as a second chance.. Wish I could equip both jet packs. Ill stay with the magnet until I buy monster island, then ill probably use the 2nd chance jet pack for high scores. Can anyone tell me if monster island unlocks by itself if I level up my rank high enough? Or do you have to buy it with coins no matter what? So bummed I didn't buy it before the update when it was 10k.. Now it's 20k! (
Damn, I haven't gotten 4 yet.. Whenever I fly around with 3 I thought that was the limit so I stopped chasing reindeer.. I friggen LOVE this game. I hope the developers never stop updating. I used to love snowboard kids on Nintendo and this is waaay better. I want to see a fleshed out version for the wii or wii U. Have you tried on North Pole? I hit alot of clouds on North Pole. I have hit two clouds a handful of times not intentionally, but when the quest popped up, suddenly it was impossible to do it. I ended up completing it by jumping twice on one cloud.. I think I did a flip and landed on the front of the cloud, then immediately flipped again and nipped the end of the cloud with my ski and got the achievement. Or maybe that was just the normal jump on 2 clouds one.. I dunno.. Think there was another similar achievement which I again accidentally passed by just falling through two clouds after jumping off a cliff on North Pole.. Either way I'd try on North Pole, there's lots of clouds. I swear the first time I opened a present I got 500 coins.. But since then I only get 25 coins.. Is that right or was I tripping when I thought I got 500 coins?
@Tannorexic Monster Mountain, my guess is that you have to pay for it... so far I havent unlocked anything just by playing And for the gift boxes, first gives you 500 then 25, you are correct I will buy the coin magnet now Edit: The magnet is amazing, got 1000 with my first run with it... Holy crap 1000? You must be an expert! Do you have the doubler? That's cray ^_^ damn will have to save up for monster mountain then..definitely my GOTY. I'm truly addicted. What rank are you? I can't see what number I am, but it says piste runner. I love all the sneaky humour in the game..things like white powder rush and saw some other slightly naughty ones too but I can't remember what they were^_^
Get Monster Mountain... it has 8 new missions, plus Count Sven and the Coffin, and has some hilarious things like riding hands, hands that sticks to frankensteins face while running, and much more... one of my favorite slopes for sure... get it Got 1000 dont know how really... and no expert here, there are some crazy scores on the leaderboards.... if you dont have the coin doubler, I highly recommend it, its the best thing, that way you will buy Monster Mountain in no time. As for the rank, Pack Leader, one above Piste Runner. Lost all my progress once and have to get back up again. Thankfully, this game never stops to get updates with lots of content. I added you thanks for the tips.. I will start saving for monster mountain.. I love the Christmas track, so I'm sure ill love the Halloween track too.. I hope they add more themed tracks.. Cant wait to see the hand thing. I'd happily pay to unlock new tracks if they were to add more.. How does replay ability hold up? I see you we're playing this game before the recent ski safari trend (before it went mainstream, you hipster ) after you had completed all achievements did you still have the urge to play? .. Sadly I've played all tracks to death, (except MM which I'm very much looking forward too) I'm worried my addiction will end soon, but I don't want it to. It's such a charming game. Will have to check out the other games on your list, you seem to have excellent tastes in gaming. The coin doubler is wicked ^_^ even doubles the Xmas present coins!
