I play using the "turn and move forward in one tap" scheme and the secret is using only your thumbs like your device is a game controller.
Which "symbol" is that? Loving this. Ads are well done and non-intrusive. Would love to be able to use the coins on characters or upgrades but this game really is beautiful. Perfect pick up and play. Edit: figured it out. "Found" the extra heart and loving this.
Really glad you're enjoying the game! The coins are purely for helping boost your high score. It does seem like a lot of people like the idea of using the coins as actual currency in the game like Crossy Road and others. Thanks for the feedback! For anyone else who might want to use same tap scheme as mentions, it's the one with the sword.

The current #1 score looks like a cheater. Seeing if it's a glitch or otherwise. Hoping to get that squared away. Also looks like you've beat my highest score I've ever gotten on any device.

So how do I get new characters. I have 400 coins. I can't buy them they just have question marks under them.

All characters can be unlocked in the game without watching any ads. Once you have all the characters, ads will be disabled.
Simply amazing. Really loving this game, kinda addicted at this point. Has anyone seen the little dog or rat or whatever it is that shows up in the first area sometimes. Trying to figure out what that is about.

sorry i been pretty busy to post as of late, but omg this game is so awesome...I am so sick of crossy road games but this is right up my ally. I been playing this and shooty skies....woot just unlocked the rogue !!! this game is pretty great, i keep seeing on here characters can be found in tombs? could you explain this? what are the tombs? i dunno if i have ever even seen one yet...
Aggh now i am mad at my self for not trying to do something with it. I just let it be since it wanst bothering me. Guess i have a new goal since most of the characters are unlocked. Hopefully we get a few new ones if things go well. Im requesting a druid or a ranger.
Thank you the kind words! Tombs are only in Adventure mode. You'll know 'em when you see 'em. You aren't always guaranteed to rescue a character. Randomly generated stages and all. But there are other goodies in there, like treasure, faerie ponds, etc. I actually have plans on making a Druid/Amazon for sure! A ranger is fun, I'll be sure to put that in my "list-o-hero-requests".

I've run into it a couple of times now (4...) - I tried killing it the first couple times (not a good idea), the third time I left it alone, and the 4th, I led it to the stairs at the end of the stage. I didn't notice anything or get any achievement or anything after doing any of that, so I'm still stumped as to what it's purpose is... But it's definitely got me curious.
I'm curious as to which one you've both seen so far. Quick tip: you can take in game screenshots at any time using the Camera button next to the pause button in the top right corner. You can crop images, zoom in and out, and change the angle using two fingers. Oh yeah, and of course you can grab 4sec GIFs in screenshot mode or when you die. Enjoy!
