Well, yeah, that's what I unlocked when I got to the desert, I had forgotten about it. Hopefully there will be more unlockables like that.

There will be a "New High Score" banner displayed when you beat your own high score, and there are leaderboards in GameCenter.

Thanks for the bug report! Optimization is a never ending task. There are unlockables, just keep going. :)

Im liking this so far but can we get an explanation of the different control schemes? The icons dont make much sense to me.

It's what you'll do when you tap...

It's pretty much the tap controlls

And for me the menu becomes unresponsive whenever I exit and reenter the game without clearing it from multitask... If that helps at all with the menu situation.

Starting at the one with the sword for reference:
    • Tapping only attacks, you don't have to be facing the enemy.
    • Tapping faces forward or moves forward if already facing forward.
    • Tapping faces and moves forward all in one tap.
    • Tapping moves in which ever direction you are facing.

Will definitely do some testing. Thanks for contributing more info.

    Hehehe...

I'm playing with the rogue... little guy in a hoodie thing... love it.

Anyway... I'm so hooked. I just killed my battery hitting the #2 spot on the leaderboard for Adventure Mode and just unlocked my 6th heart. =oP

I've also got 11 of 18 achievements... hoping to be able to get them all. Not many games get me with the achievements... so that's a huge compliment (if it matters) =oP

Thank you guys (gals? team!) so so so much for this crazy fun game. =oD

Haha, you will definitely have bitterhusk out for your #1 post! Which happens to be the sister of our programmer and she can also beat the game upside down. Beta testing was always an adventure with her. :)

Hmm... i was playing this morning... hit 4,000 in adventure mode, then got a phone call while opening a chest (the HP potion was spinning right when the call came through) - and the game froze up on me when I tried to go back...

Battery went from 95% down to 17%...

Even with the graphics down, the game seems to suck up quite a bit of battery life.

But even with this... I can't get enough. My phone's charging and when it's done, I'm most likely gonna go back to playing this... =oP

We do have "save state" implemented for the rare event you need to stop or get interrupted that should hopefully pick back up on the stage you were last in and score intact. Let me know if this wasn't the case.

Thanks for the feedback on battery. Will look into what we can do to lower CPU/GPU usage.

I am thrilled that you're enjoying the game and all feedback is welcomed!

Yay! We're high score chasers ourselves. So during development we knew right away that if for some reason the device crashed, game crashed, or a dog made us tap out (it happens ;)) we had to have something in place.

I'm currently the leader on Google Play Games, for Adventure. I only have 2 achievements to grab for Endless. Then I better start moving up on Game Center. ;)

I found that tapping to attack is the best control scheme for me.

I think bitterhusk might have reclaimed her throne!

We're always up for more feedback regarding tap schemes. I'm glad everyone has been finding their own favorite. :)

Me too. It gives an advantage vs the other schemes because you don't need to be looking at where the enemy is.
