LOL at how bad this looks. Gameloft should really stick to making FPSes. I think Gameloft was at ut's high point from mid 2010 to late 2010.
Bad how? Seriously: from an objective perspective, what is so bad about the game shown in that trailer? What I see is: * a game inspired by Jonah Hex (the comic book), not a RDR clone. * some of the better modeling, color work, and animation I've seen on any Gameloft game. * a varied single player experience that seems to combine a TPS with puzzles, exploration, and horse racing. Visually, this is miles better than the PSP equivalent (Gun). Sure, Gameloft's reputation suggests that the story and voice acting will be crap, but from what we're seeing here this could also end up in the Sacred Odyssey range (which is, for my money, the best thing Gameloft has ever done). I for one am willing to wait before I condemn.
Looks sweet! What's with all the negativity towards the game? It's a Western with vampires, werewolves, and ghouls; what's to hate? If the combat is fun, Six-Guns will definitely be a winner.
Not sure how it looks bad. It's nothing groundbreaking though. I'd think it'd be a better game than Silent Ops, 9MM, or Backstab though..lol Gameloft has had a horrible summer. Let's hope they start fall off right. MC3 soon either way.
This does look pretty bad to me. it's like a crappy version of RDR with bad voice acting and even worse music. I'll wait for the 99c sale..
Gameloft's voicework is pretty standard for the AppStore, IMO (not saying it's good). What do you expect from your iDevice?! A full RDR port would probably satisfy you.. It's not exactly a clone either from what I can tell. N I agree with the rest that the song was kinda whack.
So it's bad because you say it's bad. Nice. I do have to agree that the music is pretty terrible. But it's a freaking trailer: we have no indication that that's the in-game score.
Looks... it looks pretty. If it is based around cloning RDR it will be a good game for iOS. I think people here are expecting PS3 quality games in terms of voice acting in graphics. Can anybody here name 10 games on iOS with great voice acting? Can anybody here show me 10 games that look graphically amazing? It is an honest question. I can't think of a single iOS game where the voice acting was actually great. Hundreds of thousands of games, no quality voice acting. Hundreds of thousands of games, and this game is near the top for graphics. How much do you expect for something you will get on sale in a few weeks for 99c or at most like 6.99? People want RDR but we aren't going to get RDR on a mobile device anytime soon and not for a 99 cent sale. And to those saying it looks bad so they will wait for the 99c sale... Why pay 99 cents for something that looks bad to you and there are many quality games coming out? It just doesn't make sense. EDIT: Watched the trailer again and this is totally based off of the Jonah Hex comics mixed with RDR Undead Nightmare.
Hmmm... Real Racing 2, Infinity Blade, Siegecraft, Dead Space, Shadowgun, Touchgrind BMX, Asphalt 6, Chaos Rings, Drawrace 2, Dark Meadow. There's ten games that are graphically amazing; and better looking than this game. Voice acting: Dead Space and Shadowgun have good voice acting. I'm gonna have to agree with you that iOS is universally lacking in the voice acting department, though. Overall, I'd say this game looks below-par. Gameloft is rushing themselves, and they aren't even reaching their own par. That's what's depressing.
Game looks fine to me. Don't really know if it'll be a fun game or not. But if it's as big as Backstab then I would say that's a pretty good thing.
I will give you Infinity Blade, Shadowgun, Dark Meadow and Dead Space... the others are up in the air. Especially Chaos Rings.
I don't understand what all the hate here is. Of course this won't have Infinity Blade graphics: One is an open world sandbox game, the other has you walking on rails!
Technically IB is clicking through 3D pictures. Walking on rails is more like The Dark Meadow. But of course I agree, this game looks good for what it is.
i hope this game not "2 or 3 hours game"....i dunno why almost games in iPhone is a short games....except FF series......
