Could someone clear something up for me? If a game has IAPs to buy cars of guns or horses or whatever, and you reinstall the game on a new device for example, can you get your stuff back without paying twice? I've got not no problem with Freemium games if your purchases are permanent but I don't fancy buying everything twice if I get a new iPad. Is that what consumable IAP means? Sorry for my ignorance. I haven't upgraded Infinity Blade or anything so I don't know how it works. Thanks!
Consumable iAPs are one-time downloads. You're pretty much buying virtual currency. Of course, it can't be transferred after you've already spent it once. This is how freemium games make money.
