Do you mean as it relates to how frequently each spell class drops? Nope, but that's also a very good idea. That way, if someone wants a Life spell for example, they could visit the Life realm and know that they have a better chance to find one there.
Heh, that wasn't what I meant, but it's a good idea. No, I meant levels in the sense that certain categories of spells are more represented early in the game rather than later. I'm looking at what I've got now in my spell book and my extra scrolls, and it seems I do have mana blast, which is sorcery, but that's the only sorcery spell I have in the book and almost a whole page of scrolls. I didn't have any sorcery spells before that. Also, somewhat humorously, since that spell is based on how much mana you have, I don't think that utilizes the half-mana bonus . . . unless it does double damage for sorcery mages?. The rest of my spells are pretty randomly distributed aside from the sorcery shortage. EDIT: Speaking of ideas, how about a 3x zoom? I play 2x and its fine, but I think something between 2x and 4x would be a sweet spot.
Any spell can drop at any level. The 50% reduced mana thing is actually going away in 2.0. Instead, spells of your respective class will just be more powerful. You'll also be able to add skill points to gain perks that affect spell acquisition and potency as well. I would love to have a 3x zoom option, but for now that is a technical limitation with our engine, unfortunately.

I couldn´t wait for the new version so I tried the android (free) version yesterday. It really feels like a new game. I love the new story npcs the artifact leveling and the perks of course. But I found a really annoying bug that I had with the ios before. When you do some fights in a realm and pick up items or examine statues etc. the delay to close the dialog becomes pretty long! I had ~20secs. before I could close them. Pretty anoying and makes the game unplayable after some time. If I could help you with a log or something just ask. I will try to help you.
Turns out this was an Android-specific bug with the engine we use to work on Siralim. I just received a notice that this has been fixed, so I will upload a patch now. The bug should not affect iOS.
I definitely expect it to come out sometime this week (probably Tuesday, based on Apple's average wait time of 7 days), but it's hard to say for sure since it's all up to Apple's review team to accept the update.
But it's really worth the wait! I tried the Android (demo) version and love every new aspect of the game. Maybe we get it tomorrow
Thanks. By the way your v2.0.1 demo for Mac found on your website doesn't run on my machine (2013 rMBP, OS X 10.10). It comes up with error "Siralim is damaged and can’t be opened. You should move it to the Trash". Tried d/l multiple times and the full file size is there. Also tried to emulate the 2.0.1 Windows demo in Crossover but that comes up with a different error (though that could be because of missing dependencies in the emulation environment).
Try control-clicking on the app icon on your Mac and then go to "Open". That should allow you to run it. If that doesn't work, go to System Preferences --> Security & Privacy --> Click the lock icon --> Allow apps to run from "Anywhere". The error message stems from Apple's Gatekeeper utility. Apple thrives on making life both confusing and difficult for its users, so it gives random error messages such as the one you're receiving even though it has no relevance to the actual issue. I'll add these instructions to the demo page on siralim.com...minus the spiteful parts about Apple.
Yeah i'm pretty used to having to CTRL+Click to open unrecognised apps, but this one threw an error that I hadn't seen before. CTRL+Click actually didn't work either, I had to use your second method of allowing all apps in the settings. Never had to do that before, really weird. Anyway got it working now, cheers. The new pixel art is gorgeous.
I havent gotten an update yet but got an error when I tried to go to the games AppStore page. DAMN you, Apple!
I'm sorry! Is your device Jailbroken? If so, you can delete your config.ini file and it should move them back to their default location.
