This is the best RPG game i have ever played on IOS, perfect blend of pokemon/rougelike/building elements. Please dont stop adding to this game. I love upgrading the castle, gives me more reasons to keep playing, i think it would be cool if you could give you're character items that would change appearance and maybe effect you're creatures stats. The depth in this game is amazing, it took me a bit to wrap my head around all of it but now im hooked, the simple graphics are great. Another thing i think would be interesting if you could go out of the front of the castle and have a small town that you could upgrade and add shops.
I want to give you more money, Thylacine. How great is the dev of this game? Let me count the ways: Released a quality product on day one Immediately got into contact with us, his clients Constant updates and improvements to the product Incredibly responsive to the community There's more reasons, too, but I'd just be gushing at that point. Let's keep this thread on the front page FOREVER! No, seriously, is there a way that I could throw a few more bucks your way?
A post like that is all I need to stay motivated, so thank you very much to you, zip91, Polo, and everyone else who are so enthusiastic about this game! I'm really excited to continue building on Siralim and exceeding your expectations. If you guys haven't done so already, it would be a really big help if you could post a review on the App Store (and if you happen to have an Android device laying around, a review on the Play Store would be awesome as well). Also, a quick update about the upcoming patches: I am going to release a mini patch today or tomorrow to fix some bugs. It won't contain a lot of new content or changes, but I know the Granite Golem bug is killing you guys and I don't want to make you wait any longer. The patch will also contain some new creature graphics and fix the game for people like dude who are at a higher level than I can even count up to.
That would be very helpful. Thanks a lot! The problem with the App Store is that when a new game update is released, it shows that the game has no reviews. So it looks like the game is really unpopular and no one downloads it since there are never any reviews because it's updated so frequently.
5 star review for one of my favorite RPG on IOS. I will try to renew it every update. Got a little time for play at all on my phone recently. Gorgeous banshee by the way
Sorry for the delay with the bug fix patch, everyone. iOS 8 has been released and as expected, Apple has made things as difficult as humanly possible to develop for it. I'm in the process of updating all of my tools to compile for the new OS version and will get the patch out ASAP.
Wasn't IOS 8 meant to make developers life easier? I'm just developing for Android so I'm just wondering
I think most developers are very indifferent about it. For others like me, it's made things a bit annoying but nothing that can't be fixed. Overall, I don't think the changes made with iOS are particularly enticing to the majority of developers, but that's just my opinion. Android is infinitely easier to develop for. It took nearly a month to release Siralim on iOS compared to the Android version just because Apple makes the logistics of their App Store such a nightmare. Of course, if you compare the Google Play Store to the App Store, there are far more junk apps on the former.
The bugfix patch has been uploaded. Patch notes can be found here: http://thylacinestudios.com/forums/index.php/topic,302.0.html Thanks for your patience, everyone.
I just started playing last night and really enjoy the game so far. Unfortunately I updated to iOS 8 today and now Siralim won't start. It just zooms into a black screen and kicks me back to the home screen.
The new Siralim updated I just mentioned will make the game compatible with iOS 8. It should be out by Friday at the latest. This release date is controlled by Apple, so I'm sorry it can't come out sooner
Wow, that was a quick response, excellent customer service! I'm glad to hear the patch is incoming. Can't wait to get back into the world of Siralim.
OK that's just what I was thinking. Developing for our devices should be make easier by the creators. But they quality of released apps is a point too.
