Yeah, some developers I worked with that was their thinking, they didn't want added work even to change menus or things cause of the potential not only for more coding, but for bugs as well. Even if the game is easier for us icade (which it is never the case cause the bluetooth hack mades it a little hard to control), that may actually be welcome to some players. Regardless, this game would absolutely rock with a true joystick, us joystick loverz will take anything, cause this game seems best suited for a joystick, and right now icade is the best thing out there, and soon enough, Apple and probably many more manufacturers will be there too to join the bandwagon. At some point, many developers will be scrambling to add in joystick support, why not get a headstart with it here, and please a lot of people? Cheers.
I would absolutely be 100% in favor of the addition of Icade compatibility!!! It would be perfect for this game! This way gamers can enjoy a gorgeous game without experiencing controls difficulties. Icade PLEASE!!!
Puzzled: is the control scheme war (if any) spread to iCade? I do not understand, isn't this originally for PC/Mac/XB? Isn't that PC/Mac/XB uses physical joystick/pad but not touch screen? Sorry, I do not understand the argument here.
Don't think there is an argument. Just was pointed out that the iOS version was tweaked to make it a little less difficult due to the touch screen. So if iCade is added it may be too easy to play. Never saw a post saying they were opposed to it.
No arguement, just a lot of us would like icade joystick support that is all, and I know you too would love it. The developer was so kind to say he would consider it, it wasn't discussed that much in the past, I don't believe anyone is against it or willing to argue that vstick touch controls are better (just kidding! Or at least I hope so) hehe. Plasma sky has icade, blazing star has icade, phoenix hd has icade, danmaku 2 has icade, So why not Sine Mora which has the most to gain from true joystick support? But yeah, bottom line, icade joystick would be awesome for this game, and if the dev puts it in, I will treat him to a beer.
Since I own the Nyko Playpad Pro, I must say this game would be absolutely perfect with iCade support. Because the Playpad is essentially an Xbox controller, that means Sine Mora on my iPad controlled by the Playpad would be a replica to the Xbox experience. +1 for iCade controls.
A few sides ago, i stopped reading... I'm getting used to RT controls and i start to love 'em. My problems are reduced to the tiny buttons now. Didn't i read somewhere, they gonna be customizable in size and places, or was i dreaming ? Any helping answer, please ?
Yeah it would be nice to have moveable buttons for sure, on the ipad it is hard to reach the inner ones.
Addition: even Raiden and R.Type has it! (I almost being to rhythm a song about this). There should never be an argument against this.
We're looking into button layout customisation (or at least more choices) and icade support. We'll see
Thank you very much. Too many miss-clicks with the slow-mo/sub-weapon here on my i5. And the closest one to my thumb, is the one i don't need at all. Sine Mora is becoming my personal N#1 shooter. Replayability !
This game sounds fantastic but I much prefer hardware controls. So I'll wait to see if iCade support is added.
iCade bought - assembled - implemented. Will be in the next update. Very cool little thing it is edit: any ideas about the layout? right now it's: fire - secondary - time/armor - halfspeed (the stick is digital, so holding halfspeed slows down ship movement for finer control) Please keep in mind that total customisation is not possible, because modifying the game's gui is quite hard at this point. I'd really like to arrive on one layout that works for everyone.
Properly cannot wait for this. Might want to add autofire to stop people asking. This nearly makes me want to set up a facebook account but not quite. Good stuff.
You are officially one of the best developers out there. Seriously. If for no other reason than to support a developer willing to go WAY out of their way to make the game better, but this damn game.
