The version doesn't seem to have any problems that needing fix so maybe it was just a accidentally release as for the date only (Thursday not far if that is the scenario)... The game is great till now and it seems to be a full port of the steam version (but i have not play it too much for now to know for sure...) I wish for full screen but i think in every platform they keep the same aspect ratio (maybe they want to give a cinematic feeling)... Also a little zoom in wouldn't be bad because of the small screens and tons of things happening on the screen... but in the first stages isn't problem... All in all we are talking for great production values, great graphics, great controls, a game with nice details and whatever you can wish from a vertical shoot em up... Hope it will come soon back on the appstore for all of you who didn't manage to download it till now!
Have this on Vita and can confirm its an excellent shmup. Gonna double dip as soon as it appears again as I always have my phone and at least one ipad with me while my vita usually gathers dust in my console shelf. It must have been released by accident but its nice that these indie gems keep getting ported to ios.
I think whats more frustrating is just hearing nothing from the dev. If they said publically the game was accidentally released to the app store (I've heard that a few times, i mean is it just a case of clicking 'publish' ? How can you do that acccidentally ?) , anyway i just wish the devs would say 'yeah sorry, it'll be out next week' but i doubt we'll hear anything and we'll all be kept in suspense, frustrating !!
Heh, I've actually had the good fortune to spend quite a bit of time with Pterry over the years in both professional and personal capacities. ^_^
Aw man, another thing I found out on this thread that I'll be jealous about.. The sulking continues...............
Always wanted to play this on console but did not get around to it. Probably would pick it up when it comes back out.
Hell, at least you got a nap, I spent four hours mowing the damn lawn (with then weeks of rain we've had here, it was high, thick and wet - what a pain in the a**). Much rather be playing this game right now for the few who got it.
I think the developers of the game heard that Toucharcade were lining up Joseph Leray to do the the game review and promptly pulled the game rather than risk a 'Limbo style' drubbing
This is beautiful. Would prefer relative touch - i think it'd work - and none of that facebook stuff when it loads up. Was watching my boy play tennis when this appeared on the appstore with MC's original post. Fingers crossed it'll be back soon and unlike Deus Ex it plays great on iPad2. iCade or such would make this wonderful.
