Hi! I really like this app! It's fast and useful. Too many times have I had to re-pwn my iPhone 2G to use in HK (but not JB to use cydia) and lost info on the notes app. The sync helps make a backup, which is great to add large content.
I love the fact you do employ AutoCorrection. MagicPad doesn't and it kills me. The landscape editing is great too.
But here are the features I'm really looking for as a killer notes app:
    - backup to MobileMe. This means it gets synced to the mac too
    - copy and paste like MagicPad. There are times when you just want to remove large portions of text and move them around. Granted, it's not often but when you do need it, it's frustrating to delete bit by bit and retype it.
    - export to SMS. For those friends not on iPhones.
More comments when I used it more extensively, but I do value the backup alot. Good work.

is there a cap on the size of the note? like in the apple notes app

i see that this is search, but is there any other organization options, such like a visual display screen where i can browse and select my notes

Just to clear this Evernote edit thing a bit: In the first version you could not edit your notes. In the current version you can edit *some* notes - only plain text notes. This is a real bummer, because you can very easily make your notes uneditable on your iPhone. Just paste in styled text, sync, and the iPhone app can no longer edit the not. Other note functions like checkmarks and tables make the note also non-editable on the iPhone.

For Notes I currently switch between the Apple Notes app (love the look and feel and ease of use of it) and Evernote (text which I wanna keep in sync and have a backup for), sometimes also YouNote (great great great app - but no syncing, only Wifi Backup).

I like it! Very simple and easy to use. I had a problem with a data error the website and you fixed it quickly.

Yes, I like this idea. These do need added, and I wish that Apple would allow access to the native Notes, for just this. I'll likely get this, but I also want to upgrade to Shapewriter Pro.

    One more thing to request:
Some kind of folder management, so you can place several notes together (eg household reminders) aside from those relating to programming thoughts.
And if you need to move them from one to another, you can via a top rollerdeck option displaying which folder to file to.

The lack of categories has been pretty much the only thing holding me back from purchasing this app.

Are there any plans on adding categories or some sort of sorting system?

Also, I noticed you increased the price back up to $1.99. Do you have any plans on increasing the price again?

Great! Yeah the web backup is awesome.

I don't think Apple allows 3rd party developers to access MobileMe!

Copy & paste is something to consider, but I wonder how many people actually use it?

You can just email them instead.

No size cap! Type away. I've pasted entire web pages into Simplenote and have had no problems.

I'm not sure I fully understand your question - the list view is what's used to browse and select notes. Search can quickly narrow down what you need to see.

Thanks for clearing this up. I haven't used Evernote in a long time, ever since I started using Simplenote! :)

I encourage you to check out Simplenote. It's easier to use than Apple Notes (we have a quick realtime search) and we have the backup/sync ability of Evernote.

As of now, we are not planning to add categories. We're still exploring and taking feedback as to what most users want/need in our app.

In terms of a price increase, we started the app at $2.99, so it's quite a steal right now at $1.99! :)

I sent an email, a while back. And I want copy and paste, and categories would definately be nice. And pinch feature in Air Sharing to show more info, or out to show less sounds good. Idea - Landscape, you touch a note to preview on the right side of the screen, double tap to open.

What do you guys think of the ability to add wiki-style links to other notes?

It may be helpful in helping connect thoughts, but copy and paste is better, IMO. Go to openclip.org to help integrate Copy and Paste into your app.

    We already had a limited-time $0.99 price drop... For $1.99 it's still a steal!

I agree. It is a great app, if you would add copy and paste. It is very useful, and would only help sales. So add it.

brewster, we have plenty of satisfied users who are using copy + paste with our web app.

How does Copy and Paste in the web app help? I don't understand this. Are you directly trying to avoid providing new features, or have you looked at the copy and paste stuff, that they will send you to integrate, and deemed it too hard to do? You may have other things in the line, that is understandable, but I bought this app, and I only ask for one feature. Is that a sin?
