hi guys. thank you first and foremost for all the great info iv received here.. even if this place has made me spend so much money on apps. laughs. i have come to the point i have zero room now.. all 11 pages are full.

i downloaded one more just to test thinking maybe id get 12th page. nope all that it did was throw the program i downloaded into the system and i had to use the search to find it.

so i need to thin the heard ..of some apps i no longer use..

now i always purchase my apps on my ipod.. i learn here how to transfer my purchases over to i tunes.

i have purchased several new apps sine my last sync. will itunes automatically download only the new purchases or will it download my whole ipod apps section again.

and after i have transferd the new programs over to itunes do i need to do anything before i can start deleting them off the ipod? thank you so much.
    chris,

This is what has always bugged me with iTunes. Apple knows which apps i bought, so i wonder why they offer no option for me to download ALL of my bought apps at once. If you have an hd crash for example, you´re screwed in case you don´t remember each and every app you purchased over the time.

As far as i know, it should only download those apps which aren´t in your iTunes library yet. Don´t take my word on it though, iTunes is a mystery sometimes.

I've TWICE emailed apple tech support and they let me redownload stuff. The first time I was able to redownload EVERYTHING I ever bought from the store (this included apps) the second time I requested only a couple specific music albums since for some reason they became corrupted...

So in other words they do let you redownload... you just have to ask ;)

Does the re-download begin all by itself or do I have to go do it all manually... tht is ofcourse aftr you have askd them to :D
