Its quite sad really that Nintendo is the only major gaming company that hasn't released any work on the apple market, let alone on any system that isn't theirs. Sega, EA, and even Microsoft have released some apps on the appstore, why cant Nintendo? Some of the recent apps could replace good Nintendo games if they were to come to the iPhone: Legend of Zelda:Zenonia Mario:Castle of Magic Pokemon:This as of yet unnamed game? I want this game to at least be a good, although not cheap clone of of the Pokemon series.
Nintendo does not like to lose business, they want there game systems to sell. I never use my DS anymore because of my phone and I won't buy a DSI because there are so many great, cheap games for the iPhone, so they are losing business.
Exactly I don't see myself throwing away or disusing my my nintendo consoles but my iPhone is slowly replacing them, Nintendo better start expanding their market befor mobile consoles like the PSP Go or iPhone get ahead of them.
Sega didn't start making their games for other systems until they officially bowed out of the console market due to poor Dreamcast sales.
Ah, the Dreamcast, still my favourite console today! If Nintendo follow Sega's example and when their console franchise fails (which it won't!) they will release their games onto other consoles to stop themselves falling into the pit of deathly bankruptcy. Anyway that won't happen because Nintendo will not fail with the likes of Mario, Pokemon, Zelda, Metroid, Kirby, Blah, Blah.. (the list goes on) under their wing.
you dont see nintendo or sony on the app store because they have the ds and psp. they see apple as a hard competitin to the mobile gaming, which the ipod is great at, but i do not classify it as one of those systems because they are so different.
Um, that's cuz sega and ea are third parties who develop for all platforms. Microsoft has only released two apps that aren't games, and sony and nintendo haven't either because they have their own consoles.
I read on your Twitter that the first village is being designed, have you started thinking about the "Pokemons" "names" and "attacks" for in battles? Whenever you have anything to test I will. Agreed, nintendo has cleverly built up a massive list of "must have" video game icons, more than any other company..... Darn them
iMonz totally sucks balls. if you really gonna do a game like Pokemon, call it something what sounds Japanese look at "Zenonia" that's an awesome game. But before some people here just yell out some names, it would be good if you could post a small storyline. then it could be called like: The Story of ".." or the name of the island, or of the final boss. something like ashtonia story.

I LOVE this idea and I have a good idea for it. If you say with updates you will add places you should do itin a real way instead of just making a path to a town appear. EXAMPLE: You could make a rockslide somewhere and it will not go away until the next update! Do i sound stupid cuz thats usual for me...
