also i just used a pokeball as the monster/pokemon icon. i know you wont use or be able to use pokeballs or the name pokeball in your game. as i said this is just a prototype and that image could be replaced with whatever u r using to capture the monsters.
it would look better (in my opinion) if you could see the game going on in the background like pokemon. I'm not a huge fan of full screen menus... but, if they are full screen, transparency for the win. jeonghyunhan: sweet! ya gonna be workin on that. kinda hard because all my pics are surrounded by black or white. cant fix it till later this week but once i finish it i will post. please post pics that would be better than the ones i have. all the help counts!!!!
haha tru... in pokemon they have the SNES, instead of this you could put the apple 2 or the macbook air.... the iphone instead of a pokedex is a perfect idea! holy crap i just thought of something! we could have steve jobs as Professor Oak....

How about "Touch Freakz"? It's original and sounds pretty cool. You'll have to make your own sprites though. But besides that, it's a good idea. Keep it up.
i always hate when people replace s with z's though its kind of annoying, like adding i in front of every damn app, just spell it normally, it makes it look more professional, and i think its taken more seriously. but hey its not my game, just my opinion
Wifi battling is a must but not on my top priority list. I have never programmed anything that has to do with wifi/online so I have to go through some reading and learning again for that but it will definitely come.
Ok, first off, this looks cool. Now, I don't know of the name for them has been decided, and If not, I dont have an idea for it. But maybe you could get like pocket god or something else creators to do a colaboration, which if a well known "figure" is in it, it would probably help boost sales. Also another thing to possibly add would be an achievement system, and if you're doing wifi battles, maybe a system like open feint or something. Hope this helped and possibly use these ideas. P.s. I guess you're right. The z is a bit too faddish. "Touch Freaks" might work better, but either way, he'll have a good game, since people liked Pokemon. I just hope he goes towards a more Platinum like experience, where it is more 3D and adding to the puzzle and quality of it all.
nobody wants to do that cuz the "i" makes it feel like a cheap experience. and we are thinking of an actual unique name for the monsters.
Title I joined TA just so I could have a say in development for this clone of my all time favorite game. Nintendo will not and I repeat NOT ever release a pokemon game for the iPhone or iPod Touch, if your going to release a pokemon clone make it stand out from other "Raising RPGs" I'm not expecting too much from the developers end but don't want to see a failed My Brute(Which I loathe so much) I'm just trying to throw my 2 cents in this thread and hope to be apart of the development. As for a title may I suggest focusing building on the story of the game and basing a title around that rather then building a game on it's title?
I really hope this does well too, I would love a great pokemon type game on iphone, and yeah nintendo will never make one.
