Royce Well-Known Member Mar 22, 2011 4,240 180 63 #4 Royce, Feb 6, 2020 There’s a review on Pocket Tactics. I think it’s somewhat unfairly harsh but it provides a decent overview of the core gameplay. The main gripe seems to be that the game isn’t King of Dragon Pass or Sorcery. It isn’t, but I think there’s plenty of room for this game on iOS. It’s a lighter, simpler experience, but still polished and with well constructed mechanics and compelling gameplay. I recommend if you read that review, you read the comments as well, where people seemed to appreciate the game a bit more. ste86uk likes this. Actually I didn't understand why the reviewer considers that the only interactions between the stories and the map are limited to a simple dice bonus, when there are dozens of other different interactions, such as diplomatic changes, artefact or character status changes, story changes, or even graphic changes on the map itself ... It was difficult for me, because this review was a bit my chance to reach an English-speaking audience. It is indeed the only one I had because for an unknown indie developer, whatever the quality of his game, review requests are most often ignored or redirected to the commercial department. So the only reference for English-speaking players is currently Pocket Tactics and i have to do with it. Anyway, if you have any questions about the game or anything else, don't hesitate to ask me here (or at silmaris.pyrogen at gmail), I'll be happy to help ;-) Bertrand PS : Thank you Royce for opening this topic Makara Nou Well-Known Member May 29, 2019 563 152 43 Male https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC9mojIWbYFolADF7ZwPJQxA?view_as=subscriber #7 Makara Nou, Feb 7, 2020 Agreed! Maybe you should reach out to more content creators or reviewers. I think if there’s more information about your game, audience can learn more about it and decide. Chances are they might try your game. For example, I really like Genesis: Human Destiny, which was also released this week. Sadly, it is not talked about much and might go under radar. Cant say bad about them, though. I fail a lot and then find myself thinking harder so I can play better in the next turn. Maybe im new to this genre and get hooked easily....
