    By far, my fav games on the iPhone are Toy Bot Diaries 1 & 2. Unfortunately, they're not long enough, and other than searching for that one last memory in TBD1, I'm done. I'm guessing the next TBD won't be out for a while, and I need to pass the time until Rolando comes out...

    What other, similar, games would people recommend?

    TIA

    There has been some mixed opinion about a game called Hamster House, which is currently selling at 59p and sounds to have some interesting mechanics and collectables. Plus the graphics look pretty good so it may be worth checking out.

    Other than that there really is no other platformers out there :p

    hamster house was slow/frustrating for me.

    I second PapiCave.

    Fingers crossed for Commander Keen ports though hehe.

    I know this will never happen but Mario on the iPhone would be the most amazing thing ever.

    Trace. It's free, so you have nothing to lose. :)

    A couple freebies I have enjoyed because they use finger drawing:

    * Trace

    * Touch Physics

    The former is more conventional in that it has walk and jump controls. The latter relies on indirect physics-based control of your "character." Both have kind of a childlike graphical style, but it fits with the finger-drawing idea.

    Also, Rolando is coming and looks very promising.

    Armado just dropped to 99 cents and its an awesome platformer. Check out the lite version first though.

    Sorry, I'd like it too, but Nintendo owns it...

    Armada is way too shallow to be of any good. If youre looking for something like a platformer then have a look at Marble Worlds 2.

    Ahh come on, its a good game, very polished if you compare it to the other crap that's floating around, also you don't have much choice when it comes to sidescrollers, there are only a few titles out there.
