It got released 3 days before Xmas, Im hoping the Aspyr team are all resting and enjoying the break, and hopefully they will be able to answer questions once the break is over
On another internet site there was an interview and they told that they want to update Civ VI and they even want to bring out the next big expansion which comes next year to the Windows version but they have no idea about the time table ...
Hints on possible updates are on the Aspyr FAQ page https://support.aspyr.com/hc/en-us/articles/115005650223-Civilization-VI-Mobile-FAQ No promises but there is the intent to deliver it
Actually I have used kinoconsole to play Civ 5 on my IPhone and it was pretty good, so I dont think display would be a problem (especially with a little interface tweaking).
Reviews in Italian App Store are shameful A lot of negative review for the price. People that dont buy the game criticize (and give a star) for the price. So we have a lot of polarized review: 5 stars (game perfect) or 1 - 2 stars... Is the problem for a game that is free for testing... every incompetent person (in Italy we say dogs and pigs... its very expressive cani e porci) can do a review downloading the free game Sadly... we deserve angry birds 5...
Just curious for people who have played the game. I've downloaded and did the tutorial. Is there a way, on the city screen to see the yields on the hex where there is a "production person" head? Those things are hidden behind the marker. Also, how is the save game feature? Is there multiple saves available? How does it handle exiting the app and restarting it?
Have anyone bought it and completed a game? How is the performance in the end game? I have an iPad Air 2 which is the weakest supported iPad Havent played Civilization since version 3
This is not a game you can Understand completely without manual Pc version, but the game is the same https://www.2k.com/manual/civilizationVI/
Only words but I heard it runs great, just a bit of a long wait time between turns, but end game its just understandable, theres so many actions happening in one turn
Gentlemen, I put my money on the table and picked this up. After I made the resolution adjustment, I believe this is running reasonably well. Game on
People complaining this game costs $30 (currently) and then go blow hundreds on a town builder f2p game makes me raise an eyebrow.
I have added a positive review in iTunes to offset some of the morons. If you are enjoying the game and want to see this kind of quality on iOS, i urgdyojyo fo the same
Yeah me too. Its awesome. Just one more turn! Running on an iPad Air 2. Its not instant between turns but not that long of a wait. (Turn 120)
I think the game plays great so far. Im hoping that the resolution gets bumped (even as an option) in the next update but if it stays how it is right now then Im fine with that. I am overjoyed to have a real civ game in the only platform I have time to play anymore. I am also really supportive of the idea of a current pc game being released for high end devices only at full PC retail price. I hope others will follow suit. The iPad Pro is capable of so much but is always held back by the need to support older devices.
Do the retina res trick posted a few pages back. Its very easy as long as you have a Bluetooth keyboard available and a computer to connect your iPad to.
I dont even have iTunes. I really dont like connecting my iPad to my computer. Id rather just wait.
Well I paid for the PC version and now I paId for the iPad version. And both were worth it. To those who commented that the portability was not worth it, I totally disagree. Portability is the key and why we have devices like the Switch and DS. You pay a premium to get games on those and they are not full versions. This is a full version game - and one I happen to love. My only complaint is that it lags on my IPad Pro. Its a little uneven and iit does hamper gameplay sometimes. I have to say though....To play Civ 6 in bed - that is completely worth the $30. I just bought seven or eight games from all the sales but Im thinking that this might be the only one I play. Well, maybe Professor Layton too.
Today portability is everything. That's the device is the year is switch followed by X. I totally agree with u
You can use iMazing, it works without iTunes. IMazing will download any drivers you may need. Very good app. Civ 6 is an excellent addition to the platform. My only issue is not being able to choose the number of AI players. I think the default is 6, and with less, the wait between turns would be reduced. There probably is a setting somewhere, will have to look.
