Universal Sid Meier's Civilization® VI (by Aspyr Media)

For those of you still on the fence about purchasing the full game, Civilization VI is on sale right now. Full Game is $19.99. Doesn't look like the DLC is on sale though.

 

It is working, just not full screen

 

No, it works, certainly quicker load times than 10.5. just not full screen like most apps at the moment on the 11

 

I really hope they add cloud saves soon because switching from iPad to iPhone is really annoying with the iTunes transfer. They can at least make the transfer possible online like it is in other games like Pocket City...

 

I’m sure this info is easy enough to obtain but I’m a lazy bugger.
Would anyone be kind enough to offer a brief summary of what the DLCs offer.
Are they garnish? Is anything essential? That sort of thing.

I’ve tried the trial on my unsupported 6S+ and I liked it very much. Hopefully the sale lasts until Friday, or payday as I like to call it.

The DLC adds new scenarios, leaders and wonders to the game. There's plenty to do with just the base game. The DLC adds new wrinkles to the gameplay.

 

Seems to; I’ve only played the tutorial so I’m not sure what it would make of a large, complicated game.
I’ll roll the dice if it’s still on sale on Friday.

Playing a proper game and it’s not yet broken; 6Sers, I’d say jump in

 

Absolute battery slayer (although my aging 6S+‘s health is 81%). Took me down to 30% after 10 minutes before I noticed and stopped; I need a phone!

Can’t see me being able to play much of this without being plugged in. Shame really as it’s perfect for journeys.
Newer devices in better condition will do well I’m sure.

Still happy with my purchase; let’s see how it gets on in the later game.

I’ve done as in that thread and have observed better battery performance. Albeit scrolling around the map is a little choppy, though found it bearable.

i was interested in this and tempted by the super sale, so i gave the 60 turns free a try.
On my 6s+. 18% battery drain in 3 minutes, i closed the app and the battery kept dropping.
Maybe in a year when i will hopefully have the newest phone...

 

I'd do it anyways and take advantage of the sale. It'll be waiting for you when you get a newer iPhone.

 

there are bound to be games i will get and enjoy this christmas for these 17eu, plus by next year i might not even want/need the civ
