The base game is loaded with content and absolutely enjoyable without IAPs! The IAPs are nice but entirely optional and I would probably recommend getting accustomed to the game before buying add-ons. Civilization is the quintessential “gateway game” for people looking to get into deeper strategy. At its easiest it is very unforgiving giving you room to make mistakes and improve. The game comes with a tutorial and then there’s a “civilopedia” that is kinda like a interactive instruction manual. There’s also an advisor that can be set to “new to civilization” which will be helpful for your first couple of games.
Yes, it is dimming my iPhone X as well. Definitely heat related, not a day/night effect as someone else suggested. I had the same problem with Evoland 2 but the devs finally fixed it.
Thanks Jason. I never considered buying packs separately considering the pricing of the base game itself. Seems gonna splash some cash now Thanks Chris for the help and clearing the doubts..Buying it right away
Update: The in App purchases are working again ... they have updated their servers ... so you can update Civ on your iPads now.
Does anyone who already had the iPad version know if the IAP prices are the same as they were before or if they are also discounted. Might as well buy everything at once if everything is discounted.
I've played on my 6s...no issues through the first 75 turns or so on a standard map. Not sure about end game, might have to limit myself to smaller maps.
Does anyone know how long this will be on sale? I downloaded it but still haven't had time to play awhile to see if I want to splurge. I loved Age of Empires II, but I've never played a Civ game.
Rise and Fall Expansion has been announced for mobile $29.99 Does anyone know if they have mentioned the release date for the expansion
