Why would you need to aim inside the bars? Aiming would control the direction of the beam, not how far it goes. Also, if it helps, my brother said he'd want this game on iOS .
We will gladly take you money, soon. We don't want to just take your money and not deliver in the end. So we're going to take preorders in a non-traditional way. Stay tuned! As for the controls -- did some playing around and experimenting on an Android (sorry, no programming skills for the iOS yet, don't flame) and ended up with an elegantly simple solution of just two thumbsticks, where the left one -- if quickly "upped", triggers a jump. The right one controls the trajectory of the beam. Simplicity works. Will see if this is prototypable (this is not a word?!) via something like GameSalad.
So you guys are doing this? Just admit you're just hyping us for the inevitable. But I suggest putting making the controls you like the best the default, and adding alternate control schemes to keep everyone happy. Make sure you and your impartial testers play the game to ensure the controls are at least as tight as LoE.
Crikey, this looks superb. I will pay you the princely sum of five British pounds for it, and not a penny more! Ok, I will pay more, just make it kind sirs.
Bring it to iOS and PSN please. Also, here's an idea for controls: a D-Pad to Move and one single Dual stick control that both shoots and aims.
Yes please, please, please! The game looks awesome, just work on the controls to make them the best they can I would pay good money for it
