I'm a person who jailbreaks everytime one comes out but getting an iPhone has changed that(used to have touch). Anyway with limera1n and greenpois0n coming out, I was ready to jailbreak again. But then I heard all the problems especially not being able to restore. Could someone confirm these or at least tell me if you have any problems especially with the restoring. Also should I restore and with which software?

Hmm I used limera1n and it works great. Don't know about greenpois0n. But I'd use limera1n. I trust geohot more than chronicdevteam.

I have been jailbreaking on my iPod 2nd Gen since I can remember. However, something is telling me not to and I am listening when my iPod touch 4th gen comes in next week. For some reason I just don't want to risk it at all anymore, and it's getting to be more and more of a hastle than an asset (though I love to JB). I don't know man. What of JB do you like most and what do you think you can do without? Add the pro's and con's and see for yourself. But definitely get your questions answered.

Sorry I wasn't much help but I am in a way on the same boat.

There are really no downsides to jailbreaking. You can always restore if you don't want to keep your phone like it.

Really? You may be swaying me back into the mood of JB. I've heard limera1n works well on the iPad but I wasn't sure on the 4g's. You really have had no problems with it though? Same good shit goin on?

Hmmm I use PC, is there much different between JB from the 2? Probably might not know but I thought I would ask anyways. Should be allright.

Edit: Limera1n is an untethered JB right?

I thought JB ruined my 2nd gen but it turned out tobe a hardware problem after all. I have never had a problem with JB other than what I thought that was.

I have jailbroken my Touch 2g without any problems. Now I have a jailbroken Touch 4g. It's totally worth it. All of the awesome tweaks and themes. And remember, you can always restore if you don't like it.

IF you want Cydia issues. Good rule of thumb is to keep it on there.

What do you mean? I have no cydia issues and I still have the app.

Keeping the app on there is a fallback in case you have Cydia issues.
