I would definitely say the wii version. It came out the same day the wii was released and it's the wii's best game still to this day. Unlike most other wii games that have come out in the past 2 years, the controls are almost perfect, the wii mote works great for swinging the sword.
If you want the game, obviously Wii since the graphics are better and the controls are super fun and more realistic. Love the game, a really large playthrough, still not done - GET IT
even being a longtime zelda fan, I didn't finish this game. I got quite annoyed by the third tedious round of "collect the bugs" and haven't played it since. I personally enjoy the 2d zelda games more.
yeah, the game could've used some more types of "scrub" enemies and better mini missions. Couldve been much better in that respect. But control-wise (use of wiimote and nunchuk) I really think this is the best wii game
from what I heard, no not at all, its just a traditional controller though, the controls of the wii version feels more real. I guess if you prefer a traditional controller then go for the GC version, but you'll be missing out on the wii's best use of controls incorporated into a game. Its actually rare for wii games to have good controls, and Zelda's are among the best for the console so far.
I've only seen the Wii version played, and it looked alright, but kind of gimmicky, but again, I haven't played it personally. I have played the GC version though, and think it's absolutely fantastic. But yeah, the only real difference is the controller, nothing wrong with the GC controller, but if you want to swing the sword around, etc. Also, Link is a righty in the Wii version for obvious reasons, and me, being a lefty, like the lefty Link more! Can you change which hand he uses in the Wii version? Anyone know?
lol you must be mad Link switched for the wii and the next wii only zelda will probably be the same unless they let you switch
