Dropship? I read the reviews and can't make up my mind now. I like those games that have a neon look like blue attack and defense, but is dropship worth 2 dollars, or should I wait for it to drop a dollar and wait for space defense?

Should you make a more specific thread title?

    Yes.

Don't get Dropship. Trust me. I bought it a while back, and I've spent about max 30 minutes. It really isn't that fun. It's sort of odd tbh.

If it were a buck it would be a great deal.

If your into vector stuff. Personally i like vector tanks better but dropship still gets frequent play time from me.

I personally didn't like Dropship. It's still better than a lot of other games, but as an ngmoco game, I was disappointed.

i got for a dollar and think it's worth that, but there's not much to do after finishing the 18 levels. (i was stuck on the 9th for a week, then somehow beat it and the rest of the game in half an hour). they also stopped adding download-able levels

Count me as another who was disappointed with Dropship. Controls are not that intuitive, and frankly it gets old pretty quick...my two cents for what it's worth, which in this case is two cents.

It's quite an overrated and overhyped game. don't buy it.

Spend your money on iDracula instead (if you haven't got it yet).

Dropship is a fun game, not amazing, but fun.
I would reccomend it, but it's not for everyone.
The controls are indentical to iDracula, and the graphics like vector tanks.
Maybe this is where iDracula got it from?
It's a pretty fun game if you take the time to play with it for a bit.

Wow the hype has died right down now.
I remember when this came out one of Toucharcade's editors (Blakespot) declared it one of the greatest games released on any platform

Actually I really liked dropship when it first came out. I have no problems with the controls (in fact iDracula's controls are similar) and I find the graphics pretty cool, but I can agree on the other points raised in this thread: it does get old really fast and they've stopped adding levels for a long time now. Maybe worth 0.99 bucks but not more.

It's not as bad as it seems from this thread. It's actually pretty good game, but little short. People here just hate ngmoco for some reason I don't understand...
Anyway, it's all about the controls. Once you'll get used to it, you'll really enjoy the game. The devs are adding new levels sporadically too.

Thanks for the info, I've decided not to get it until it drops to a dollar. I'll just wait for Livefire and space defense.
