It's on sale now, for $47 from 70. But I can just get the preowned version, which is 39. Should I just buy the brand new version, or get the second hand one? Thanks.
New copies come with a "online pass" code. If playing online is something you want to do, get the new, if not, get the used.
It was a lot of fun, but I would just suggest renting it from Redbox for 2-3 days and blasting through it. It goes by pretty quickly.
Pre-owned game: $40 Online pass: $10 Season pass: $20 Additional DLC: $30+ at this point Plus you get a broken mass transit system, no day/night cycle, a leveling up system that makes you completely impervious to damage by the 20 hour mark, a much smaller number of indoor areas then SR2 and a complete lack of certain SR2 features such as drug & alcohol use and store hold ups. I've put 50+ hours into SR3 and IMO You'd be better off just waiting for the "stand alone expansion pack" Saints Row 3 - Enter the Dominatrix or just going back to SR2.
Yes. Great story. I won't spoil. But most parts in the game give you two choices. One of the endings could make you shed a tear. Just saying. The game gets pretty boring after you beat it. I still have it. I don't play it anymore. Have fun trying to get achievements. I get trophies. Ps3. But seriously almost everyone uses dumbass cheats which disable achievements. It's hella annoying. I played mostly the whole game by myself. Don't get the online pass. Unless you like cheats. Once you beat it it's ok of course. Or make two saves. Cheat. Noncheat. Btw. There is a zombie cheat that turns everyone except cops, and your gang into zombies. The best cheat ever. That whole city filled with zombies. The game was fun while it lasted. Pretty much it's a great experience. Nuff said.
