I've been wanting the Galaxy Nexus for Verizon for 2 months now. Many leaked documents yesterday stated it was coming out this Friday (12/9), so I was happy and glad that we had SOME concrete evidence that it was finally coming out. Well a new rumour starts today saying that it's been delayed (due to LTE SIM Card issues) I called my local corp. Verizon store to see if this was true and yes, it is true. So I ask you guys, should I get an iPhone 4S instead? I am a very big gamer and miss the good ol' days of coming on here, discussing game strategies, reading reviews and just hanging with a great community. The iPhone looks amazing now with many games I'd love to play. However I don't like the same homescreens in iOS. It just seems too bland. Coming from Android this would be very hard adjusting to, along with screen size. Android for me now is a love hate relationship constantly, I have a Droid Bionic and it drops 3G data constantly, the gaming performance is pitiful and the screen literally makes my vision fuzzy (after playing a game or reading a book for 15-20 mins). I do love things about Android though that would make me miss it, the customization, widgets, preference, 4G LTE, 720p screens, would all make me regret the iPhone but I'm gonna need some opinions. TL;DR I love Android and I love iOS but I have to choose one. Is it worth losing customization and freedom from Android for better games, battery life and performance on iOS? Thanks for the help -Slapshot
grass is always greener on the other side. i don't think i can tell you flat out to net get the 4S but if i think that if i were in your place i probably would not get it. at least not at the moment. maybe wait a few months and then get it, but not right now. oh and btw i don't think there's much of a difference in the battery life department. you want good battery life? get one of them old nokia phones from circa 2003
My friend got it and I played one afternoon with it. Not sure it is worth replacing, especially if you have a new phone.
