Yeah, I mean it's Ok. But you might want to hesitate before you buy. The 3G is pretty far behind now and is only going to get less and less supported.

Even though it may be a good deal, it might be more worth your while getting something that has a bit more life left (and something that also enables you to play the best games :D).

I don't know about the sim thingy.

    Ok, thanks.

Well, I guess I would use this to replace my iPod Touch 1G…because the guy said I could exchange my iPod Touch 1G + $30 for it.

Yeah, I know it's behind, but it would replace my iPod Touch 1G.

Yeah, true, but I plan on getting the iPod Touch 4G anyway.

I would have a iPhone 3G and a iPod Touch 4G if I exchanged my iPod Touch 1G (and $30) for it. I mean, I know I don't need two iDevices, but I really don't care, however, it would be a plus if I could use my SIM Card to use calls so I could replace my RAZR/LG Shine.

Don't think the sim will work, pretty sure you need a data plan to get iPhone service.

Be careful - if you don't already have a data plan your service might start charging you for smartphone use if you put your sim in an iPhone.

Contract? Getting an iPhone w/o a contract is beneficial since you get all the greatness of an ipotch plus a camera and external speaker (skype). And lack of 3G isn't big of a deal anyways since wifi is everywhere.

It really isn't. I live in one of the biggest cities in Florida, and finding WiFi with my iPod Touch is really damn hard. 3G is really nice to have for those random situations when you need it.

I thought the 3GS was going for $100 now too, and that they stopped selling the 3G.

Anyways I wouldn't buy it. I mean its too far behind now, lotta shit has happened since the 3G was released :p
