See the only thing is that it would be 6 months before it came out. The only expected change is the camera right? Besides I would only be getting the 8 gig touch.
Sounds like you kinda already made up your mind as to what you're going to do If you really don't care about more power(3g) or a possible camera(4g) and you're currently on an ancient first gen iPod, then I see no reason to finally upgrade.
Well I hate my 1st gen. But waited to amass enough funds to undergo the upgrade. I don't know now...I may wait.

I dont think the 4g ipod touch will have any huge improvements ecxept for maby a camera. After the major upgrade for the 3g in procceser And graphics performance that has yet to be unleashed, i think apple will go easy on upgrades. I might be wrong, but you should just get a 32 gig itouch.Save up some money so if the 4g ipod touch is a bazzilion times better, you just sell your old one and buy a new on. Easy as pie(sort of) that what im going to do

lol yours still has holes in the screen? you guys don't think the 4th gen will have huge improvements? I'm afraid of getting a 3rd gen myself because I don't know how much better the 4th gen might be.
