The biggest problem is that the enemies are so big you have nearly no place to move to avoid all the bullets and enemies...
Agreed much better than CR which I didn't enjoy. It's a highly polished shmup for casual players but I'm not convinced there's much depth to it so I might not be playing it next week, but hey, you never know! It's free, it's fun and that's enough for now.
This game made me stop playing Land Sliders. I just unlocked Sparkles too. I don't know what triggered that secret character to appear though.
I unlocked The Hipster Whale! I have no idea how! I was playing the Crossy Chicken and using the Honey Badger Weapon. I defeated the first boss, the Freedom Bird, without continuing. I died in the middle of stage 2. Continued using coins. Then died again. And then it said he was unlocked. Billy
I'm enjoying it, but I'm getting lockups and crashes. The lockup is a screen freeze, combined with the sound stuttering until I force quit the program. Other times it dumps me out to the app launcher. This might be because I'm one of the people for whom Game Center doesn't work in iOS 9. If so, never mind this bug report.
I would enjoy this game much more if the weapons were permanent with a lot of upgrades. They could even charge more for them with each upgrade costing more than the last. I think it would give me a better sense of progression. As it is I just save up some coins to get the homing missiles or the honey badger and try to go as far as I can but I don't seem to get any farther each time. I know my skill should increase over time but I would rather have something to save coins for that would increase my scores with each purchase. I like the gameplay though.
To get the sparkles character you have to defeat a rare YouTube cat the shoots colorful squares. I found the cat on the cowboy background, but I'm not sure if it's limited to that stage
So there's another bug. Can someone else please recreate? When you die, pay coins to continue. Press the screen. Release to charge the special weapon. You will hear the weapon charge but won't see the visual effect. Press the screen to release the special weapon and nothing happens. Billy
I'm sure you're not. I'm just not very good at purely skill based shooters and upgrades at least give me the illusion of getting better. I'm still playing and trying to get better though.
To get hipster whale you have to be crossy chicken and very rarely the boss motto will say " crossy boss approaching" based on other peoples pattern of getting hipster whale, this seems like the most likely theory
Can anyone confirm that by destroying the PEW PEW TV you unlock the Pew Pew Pew character? I somehow unlocked Pew Pew Pew and I'm not sure how I did so, and this TV is the only plausible thing I've seen thus far. I've attached some pictures as well. Edit: Nevermind, I believe you just unlock pew pew pew by firing a certain amount of shots or gaining a certain number of points.
