I'm currently at school right now, but I want to ask what should I add to give this game a bit of flare? Personally, to me it looks bland, and I think im going to add more color to the space atmosphere. I've also managed to add more harder opponents because i felt the game was too easy; Note that this is an "endurance how long can you go before you die like tetris" kinda game. Any comments are welcome.
Huge update to this! I can now start just polishing everything up and getting this game to be good, and now even a kick-ass icon, but now i want to have some thoughts if I should make the game harder than before. I was afraid if the game was difficult, some would be put off by it, but now i just want a user to be more engaged in the game. here was an icon i was gonna use, but changed my mind...
Could someone help me with another type of weapon that i should add on to this? i feel like this is very close to being finished.
Update log: I now feel like this is near completion, and I changed the whole user interface and little gameplay elements that will help this game. I also put best high score saves into this, and I'm choosing between now to maybe the beginning of February release.
Here's my 2-cents: The music is great. Take the great thing and run with it! The music is hip, retro and techno. You should make the art fit. I'd go with something psuedo-retro, like the Puppy Games look.
hmm Doodle artwork is a big turnoff for a lot of people so that may be why nobody is picking up your previous games. But I recommend you try out pixel art. It's easy and looks better than doodle art.
yeah, I was doing pixel art for my next few games, but it was gonna look really different from what most would expect.
