Ground Effect is included in a widely-tweeted list of 20 iPhone games that apparently work very well on the iPad. Being UK-based & never having even seen an iPad, this was encouraging news to me & may help inform future decision-making. Maybe a similar list devised by TA users would be helpful.

    Have a look HERE

I take it you have an iPad & have tried some of the games mentioned on the list & disagree? If so, thanks for your comment.

so i think that we learned another valuable lesson. developers shouldnt make an ipad version of their iphone game then no one will complain. then it would be kinda pointless to own one (for games at least). it would be great for me because i wouldnt hate the people who own ipads so much.

How is this an issue or even discussion??

The ipad is a completely different device than the iphone and ipod touch, and thus you the consumer are not entitled to free upgrades. Why shouldn't the developers get to make a new profit on it?

I'd say that consumers are lucky that the older games are compatible at all. I mean, no one was yelled at Nintendo when their systems weren't backwards compatible. Do you think people were pissed they couldn't play Mario 3 on their Super Nintendo? Of course not, they just went and bought Mario All Stars and got to enjoy enhanced graphics on that and three other games. Either that, or they still played Mario 3 on their original Nintendo.

THERE IS NO ISSUE HERE PEOPLE!
