I decided to buy the first game and it explained the controls, like how to "shift" between black and white upside worlds, but the main thing was explaining how to jump as I didn't know the arrow key can double for a jump button depending on the direction you are going. I wish they had put a small tutorial in the second game, in particular because the 2nd level in the game kind plays with your mind a bit, and at first it was because I was doing something wrong and was getting frustrated, and I did not realize that level is deliberately trying to fool you (I won't spoil it). But despite those minor gripes, I'm finding both Shift games really fun.
